APRIL FOOLS

I woke up to see Annalee in my bed and it's was April the 1st at 8am. I picked up my phone and didn't bother getting out of bed. I looked at the screen and smiled. Mike had been texting me:

MIKE: hey you.. Yes it's six in the morning but don't you wake up like super early?
MIKE: oh I get it your still asleep
MIKE: well text me when you wake up you sleep head :)

I grinned at the text messages. I then texted back.

MADDIE: morning Mike
MIKE: God were you still sleeping?
MADDIE: yea, what were you doing up at 6 in the morning?
MIKE: nothing much, yesterday they started spring break so me and you can spend some time together if you would like and IF your father allows lol
MADDIE: I'm sure he wouldn't mind but I am gonna hang with Annalee for a bit okay?
MIKE: okay, that's cool I have to do some school stuff either way so have fun
MADDIE: okay you too bye
MIKE: ❤️ you
MADDIE: 😊 LOV you too

I put my phone back and smiled. I left Annalee rest for a while longer as I went down stairs. I saw my dad laying on the couch sleeping. Uncle Wade was still down here so he was in Marks bedroom, I guessed, and I saw Jack sleeping on the other sofa. Yesterday Mike had gone home with his mom who was glad to be home of course. It had been nice being with Mike. Tho the sad part about it was that Ryan and Matt were still sad about Ian. I could have cared less about Ian, but come on, Ryan was excited to have a kid of his own. I let out a sigh but smiled as I heard Chica and Lego's paws against the wooden floor. I gave them a good stomach rub before pouring myself a bowl of lucky charms except they were really loud and it caused Jack to stir on the sofa. wait... Today was April Fools day.. Oh crap?!
I wasn't thinking about that when I walked over to Marks couch and then I saw what looked to be blood all over Mark.

"MARK?!", I screamed. Then Mark jumped up scaring the crap out of me and causing Jack to wake up and laugh at me and have Mark a high five.. Oh they are so getting beat today. ]:}
