Chapter 38

Everything spins and my vision is filled with dots, my ears ring until everything goes silent an black.

The first thing my eyes are met with is Luke hovering over me.

"are you okay?" He asked, a smile tugging at his lips.

I nodded sitting up. My head killed and I felt like I would be sick any minute.

Luke helps me up and I clench my eyes shut from seeing the spinning surface, trying not to get sick.

"How long was I out and where is everyone?" I rub my eyes. "You were only out for a few minutes and everyone else... I don't think they've noticed we're gone" he shrugs.

"What the fuck are you two doing" Calum's voice snaps at us.

We both slightly turn seeing an agitated Calum speed walking towards us.

He stood taller with his body tensed and hands in fist. God he gets mad fast.

"Come down hercules, I passed out and Luke was the only one to notice" I groan, closing my eyes again from the beating sun.

"How?" He rolls his eyes. "I fell and hit my head" I sighed not really in the mood for any shit.

"Yeah okay" he muttered "Jesus if you need a tampon just ask"

"I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that and let's go" he smiled.

Luke is smiling with amusement and laughs when Calum starts to walk.

I walk forward following Calum and Luke catches up to me.

Michaels red hair sticks out of everything's so I head for them. "Hey Winter!" A familiar voice yells.

I turn my head to see Kian walking towards me, I walk his way. "Hey" I smile.

"How have things been going?" "Getting better" I sigh. "So your here with Luke?"

"Not just him, with everyone, y'know Michael, Calum, Jane" he nods.

I watch his eyes flicker from me, to behind me and then back at me again. "Alright well I have to go back, I'll see you later" he smiled. I nod while he walks off.

I spin around and see Luke glaring at Kian while he walks off, that's when I realized that's what Kian was looking at, Luke.

"Will you stop staring" I scoff "no he's a dick" he mutters like he doesn't want me to hear, but I do.

"Really Luke, you don't even know him" I groan, Luke looks at me and shrugs "I know him enough to tell that you shouldn't talk to him" he mumbles.

"I can talk to who I want, you don't have a say" I laugh sarcastically. "Please can you not start shit for at least a day" I finish. He stares at me blankly, his eyes roll before he speaks "I'm not starting anything, you just have a pissy attitude" he shrugs again and walks to line.

I take a deep breath and follow to the line just in time. We sit in the seats of the ride, well more like a drop.

Last time Luke freaked out on this ride, that's how I remember it. This time I'm sat next to Jane and Calum.

It goes by quickly, Luke shakes while he gets off which cause me to laugh.

Next ride is a roller coaster "I'm not going on that right now" Luke panics.
"Get over it, you baby" I remark.

"You can wait for us" Michael suggest. "And that's what I'm going to do" Luke answers back.

Waiting in line was always the worst part because it seems to drag by. "uh Winter do you mind if you stay with Luke this time because there isn't enough spots" Calum speaks once we reach the beginning of the line.
