Chapter four: Stay Safe

???'s pov

'Almost there, just a few more weeks. Then you'll be at peace, you could end your suffering.' I thought to myself, as I walked on the empty highway.
'Once you get there, it'll be all better. You'll finally be happy.'

Mweiki's pov

"Mweiki," a voice called out my name, they kept repeating it, every time getting louder and more annoyed.
Until, "MWEIKI!" They yelled, I jolted awake, and came face to face with Kohaku.
"Have a good sleep in your broom closet?" They asked smiling.
I sat up, rubbed my eyes, and looked at them, "What time is it?" I yawned.
"Almost six. Your father and brother are waiting in the dinning room for you. So I'd suggest you hurry." They got up and started to walk away, they turned back and smiled.
And just that smile, made my day.

Today, I love.

Kohaku left, I got up and headed for the dinning room.
But of course I'd gotten lost only a zillion times, you'd think after five years of living here I'd know where everything is, but no.
Eventually, I found the smaller dinning room, I never wanted to be rich in money, nor did I needed to be, we had more then one dinning room.
We had a larger one for when we have company, and a smaller one when it's me and Yuno, and in this case, Father and my brother, Minato.
I don't see my father or brother much, so I honestly couldn't wait.
Me and my brother never were best of friends, like many siblings, we fought. Probably not as much as 'normal' families, we tried to block Minato out of our bubble.

I pushed the glass doors, my father sat at the end of the carved mahogany table, and my brother sat beside him.
"Dad!" I ran up to him, and attacked hug him, "I missed you!"
He smiled and accepted my hug, "I missed you too, Mweiki."
"What about me?" Minato joked, he opened his arms for a hug.
I rolled my eyes and smiled, "I guess I missed you a little."I sat down in my chair.
He smiled and rolled his eyes too, and waited for his food.
I jumped up from my seat and gave him an attack hug, making his fall out of his chair, still hugging him, I said,"Of course I missed you! I also missed your baking."
He laughed, "I missed you too, lil' sis."
I got up frowning, "I'm almost as tall as you."

Mweiki is 5'9-10 ish, and Minato is 6'1

He laughed, and stood up, "but you'll always be my little sister."
I went back to my seat, a maid brought Yuno in and put her in booster chair.
My brother's phone buzzed, we all looked at him. He gave us an apologetic look, and answered it.
"Hello, this is Tomoko, Minato." He walked away, we waited for a few minutes. Waiting for his return, he came back around five minutes later. He didn't seem too pleased, "Sorry," he said, which came the disappointment, "I have to go, business calls." He forced a chuckle.
I look down into my lap, "It's okay, Minato. I understand, work needs you."  I looked in his eyes,"Stay safe, okay?"
He frowned and nodded, "you too, bye dad." He hugged our father, "bye, Yuno." He kissed the child on her cheek, "Bye, Mweiki." He messed up my already messed up hair.
He started to leave the room when I said, "Mina, wait!" I got up from my seat, and grabbed his shirt,"Love you." I hugged him, "I'm serious," tears fell from my eyes, "Stay safe, we can't risk losing you, too. So, please, please, stay safe."
He was shocked by this comment, tears filled his eyes too, "I will, and I'm serious too, please stay safe. We still have you for a reason, don't even try to forget her, okay? I love you Mweiki." He let go, he stared into my eyes, smiled, and left.
Tears in my eyes, hands near my heart, I watched him leave.
"Please be safe, I don't want you to leave too. I love you." I whispered to myself, hair hiding my face, I walked back to my seat.
