I sat near the door of the host club, I felt like crying. I overheard their conversation, it made me feel better. They spoke good things about me, although they thought I wasn't there, after awhile, I left.
But I didn't leave the school, since no one was there, I sat at the truck of a tree. My hair was down, I took my jacket, tie, shoes, and socks off.
I grabbed my bag off my shoulder, and dug threw it for my sketch pad and pencils.
I found them, and started to draw.
I drew myself, a different version of me.
I didn't notice people in front of me, "What ya drawing there?" A voice asked. I looked up and see Kaoru, I believe.
"Doesn't matter." I mummer bitterly, "Go away."
"She isn't nice, Hikaru." Hikaru said, which confused me.
"I know, Kaoru. She's mean." The other said.
"I know a way to sweeten her tone." They sat down crisscrossed in front of me.
"Let's play a game."
"I'm not dying." I said looking back down at my drawing.
"Huh?" Their heads cock to the left.
"Saw."
"Oh, anyway. Let's play the which one is Hikaru game!" They exclaim, as they put on green golf hats.
"No, and those hats look idiotic. Just like the air wasters under them."
"I think she really needs to play this game." They were in my face now.
"No, now go away. I wanna be alone." I got up and packed my things.
Putting on my shoes, they grabbed my hands and pulled me back down.
"Not before you play our game!"
"Fine! I'll play your fucking game! If you leave alone!"
Their eyes widened at my vulgar language, "Don't let the boss hear you say that, or he'll be in his emo corner and complaining to Mommy for hours."
"I don't even wanna know, anyway on with the god damn game so I could go home."
"Home?" They asked looking at each other wiggling their eyebrows.
"Fuck no! Don't even think about coming to my place. I'll shoot you before you could go into my driveway." I shouted.
"Fine, we won't go to your house."
"Good." I put on my shoes, and left the tree.
"One question before you leave!" The lower voice said.
I sighed and turned around, "What?"
"Why are you neutral towards the boss, Haruhi and the others?" They asked sadly.
I went from annoyed to surprised to sad, and then mad, "Because... because..." I was about to cry. They got up and tried to hug me, "No! Stop, don't touch me. Go away! Yuki's gone!" Tears fell down my face, "I wish I was too." They looked at me with sympathy, and I ran. I ran faster than I could.
I didn't stop until I reach my woods, I threw my stuff to the ground and cried standing up.
It wasn't a cute cry like in princess movies, it was an ugly, loud, wet cry. I fell to my knees, grabbed my head, and screamed.
Tears came down, and they didn't stop. I kept screaming and crying, I'm glad no one lived around, so they didn't call the police to report a murder.
I felt two pairs of arms wrapped around me, I stopped and ranked them off.
"No! Stop! I can handle thing on my own! Leave me ALONE!" I screamed, I got up and stumbled back, they sat there shocked. I continued to bawl, "I'm used to it."I looked down, my hair in my face, tears falling down, "I'm fuckin' used to i-it." I covered my eyes with my palms.
I didn't realize that it was night, and couldn't see my own hands in front of me, I looked up and couldn't see anything.
I started to panic, I tripped and fell back.
A hand caught mine, and I could hear the rushing waters below me.
I shut my eyes, my breathing became heavier, they pulled me up and pulled me into a hug, "It's okay. You're okay." I started to cry once more, "Just let it all out." The lower said voice. Another pair of arms wrapped around me.
I now realize that that was the day I found friends, people who won't leave me, a family of you will. They cared for me, although I still didn't trust them.
"It's pretty dark out, and I don't think you want to tell us where you live," one twin started.
"Or want to walk home alone." The other finished.
"So, what would you say to staying at our house. It's much bigger than your house, isn't it?" They propose.
"I guess it is." I say, even thought it probably isn't, since my house is the third largest in Japan. I was just trying to keep up my act, "and if I call home and tell them, I'm sure it'll be okay."
"You have a phone?" They asked.
I laughed, although I was still kinda crying, "yeah, I'm not that poor."
They let go off me, and I dial home, someone answers, "Tomoko residents." It was a deeper voice.
"Hi Makoto." I answer.
"Mistress Tomoko! Where in heavens are you? We'll send a car out right away!" My butler said.
"No!" I cleared my voice and said, "I mean, that wouldn't be necessary. I'm in the woods..."
"In the dark? Mistress aren't you afraid of the dark?" He asked.
"Yes, I am. But my friends are here with me. I was just telling you that I'm going to spend the night there."
"That's alright, Mistress. You're lucky it is a Weekend. See you tomorrow."
"Bye Makoto! And don't call me that!"
He laughs and hangs up.
I roll my eyes,"home says it's okay." I said, my voice was raspy from all the crying.
I look around and they weren't there, I started to hyperventilate. I close my eyes as I ear, "BOO!" And I jump, scream, and curl up in a ball while cry again. I cover my ears with my hands.
"Kaoru," I nearly hear, "She's petrified."
"It was your idea!" The other argues.
"It doesn't matter now! We have to do something. She's frozen in fear!"
"Well what should we do? We have to get her to the limo one way or an other."
I felt dizzy, then a pair of arms picked me up bridal style.
I stared in shock at the twin, "I-I can w-w-walk by M-myself you kkn-now." I crossed my arms in embarrassment. But I never blush.
"No way, we scared you. I'll carry you to the limo." Kaoru said.
"F-fine." I said in defeat, "But I am p-pretty heavy."
"Not really." He didn't wen struggle, "for your height, you aren't heavy at all."
"How tall are you anyway?" Hikaru asked me.
"5'10."
Suddenly they went silent.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
I could pretty much feel them blushing, "You're taller than us."
"Really?" I laugh, "Don't worry I'm taller than most people."
They smile although they were still blushing in embarrassment.
We reached the limo, and Kaoru carefully placed me in.
"T-thanks." I shiver, I looked out the window, then back at them.
I see them staring at my necklace.
"What?" I said.
"Your necklace." One said.
"It's nice." The other stated.
"It's from my mother." I played with my necklace. It was a gold chain with a pink crystal attached.
"Oh, why don't you tell us more about you as your family and stuff?" They asked.
"I d-don't t-think so." I said nervously, and shivered.
"Are you cold?" They ask.
"N-no. Don't w-worry about m-me" I shivered more.
They grab a blanket they so happen to have, and wrapped
it around me, I frowned, "thanks." I mumbled.
"If you won't tell tell us about your family, why we're so scared before?" They asked.
"But only when you thought you were alone?" Hikaru added.
"You were fine when you knew we were around. Why alone? Are you scared of being alone?" Kaoru asked.
"Not exactly. I'm uh, kinda, sorta..." I looked at my toes.
"You're scared of the dark," Kaoru started.
"Aren't you?" Hikaru finished.
"Yeah, sorta. I'm afraid of being alone in the dark, and being alone with fire. I guess being alone in things I guess." I admitted.
Before they could say anything, we arrived at the twins' house.
"This is it." They said, helping me out of the black limousine.
It was a lot smaller than mine, but I couldn't break my cover so, "Woooah. It's huge!" I faked exclaimed. Luckily I was a good actor.
"A lot bigger than your commoner dwelling, isn't?" They said with pride.
"Yeah," I lied, "Way bigger."
"Well, come on in!" They said.
I walked up the marble stairs, they pushed open the doors into their room.
"Woaaaah," I said, meaning it.
