They were right. There is absolutely nothing after death. Just a dark pool of air and space. It is terrifyingly peaceful. You anticipate everything-- and nothing comes. You feel nothing but ripples of water on your skin, you see nothing whether you open your eyes or not. You reach out to find something-- anything familiar, and there is nothing. Just you and your thoughts, and that is the worst part. And it goes on forever.
