This chapter contains curse words. Just to let you know.

"Sapphire; what the hell are you doing?" Amethyst slapped the table, seeing Ruby head to class as the bell went. "Being nice, give it a try." Sapphire sharply retorted as she picked up her backpack and rolled her eyes. Garnet defended her, "Hey, Ruby looked like she really appreciated the offer." and adjusted her shades. "Were going to be late." Pearl sighed, motioning for the three to follow her.

Students packed the corridors, creating a sea of chatter, laughter and gasps. Sapphire budged passed them, muttering her pardons as she turned to her friends. "Shit, who did the french homework?" She asked anxiously, twiddling her fingers to distract herself. "Nah, your barking up the wrong tree by asking me bro." Amethyst shrugged it off, but she was phased by the idea of the teacher shouting at her.

Garnet held up her fingers to signal 'Hang on.' as she fumbled with the pause button on her earphones. She then nodded yes, her afro bouncing with her head as she pointing to her pocket to show where she had it. Pearl smirked, and showed Sapphire a pristine piece of paper with neat french words written on it. "Did you even have to ask?" She grinned, narrowly avoiding a sandwich that someone had discarded on the floor.

They approached the door and knocked before entering, as they were a minute late. The woman motioned for them to enter with her unnaturally bony hands. "Your late." Her cutting voice reassured, and the four responded with half hearted sorries as they took they seats. Sapphire had no such luck, as a new girl was in her usual seat (a secluded desk in the corner of the class, just the way she liked it.) "Hi there... You? There's been a bit of a mix up, you appear to be in my seat." She whispered, trying not to catch the teachers attention as she write the date one the board.

"Nope. I sit here now, your at the front." A nasally yet distinctive voice retorted. Sapphire was startled, until the teacher ordered, "Simpson; there is one desk at the front here. Is it hard to see that there is where you must sit?" Miss. Diamond said, crudely using the girls second name to undermine her. "Yes, ma'am." Sapphire hurried to her new seat, still as graceful as ever. She rolled her eyes (well, her 'eye') behind Miss' back and placed her equipment on the table. "H-hey." A nervous and familiar voice cooed. Ruby. "Shh." Sapphire replied coldly, making Ruby stare awkwardly in the other direction.
