New Year New Problems (5)

So after my birthday almost everyone went home but Tobin, Alex, Ash, Ali, Press, JJ, Moe, Kling, Kelley, and Mal stayed. Rydel and her family are staying until the second of January so we have a day left before they have to go. I got up and went to the bathroom but when I leave me room I hear mom and Carli talking I don't want to ease drop because its not cool but I hear mom say, "I don't know how she's going to take it." I walk away and go to the bathroom. But I open the door I see Press and JJ sticking their tongues down each other's throats.

"Hey guys I think you need to find out what a lock is." I say.

They pull apart and blush, I laugh and do what I have to do in the bathroom. We're all going to stay here together and watch the ball drop. I go downstairs into the basement where Kelley is along with the other girls. They're still sleeping so I go into the gym and start my workout. About 30 minuets in I feel a hand on my shoulder I turn around and see Rydel.

"You need a workout buddy?" She ask.

I nod and we start working out, but we're twins so we always have to one up each other. It got to the point where we had the girls come in and say who won. So we're both equally fit and most of the results were the same. So at the end we called it a tie and went upstairs to eat breakfast.

"Did you both workout on an empty stomach?" Carli ask.

We both nod.

"You guys can't do that your body needs something to burn." Henry says.

"He's right." Alex says.

We all sit down at the table and eat breakfast, Rebecca cooked and it isn't half bad. Rydel and I finish eating first and head to my room. Rachel is laying down on her phone.

"Who are you texting?" Rydel ask.

"Aton." Rachel says.

"Whose he, your boyfriend?" I ask.

Rachel just smirks and continues to type on her phone.

"What do you want to do today?" Rydel ask.

"We could go to the mall." I say.

"Yeah and ask your friends if they want to go too." Rydel says.

I text everyone and they say they're up to it so we head out. Mal came with us and it just got me thinking about Kelley and I. I mean she is 5 years older than me and that's not a lot but doesn't it look weird her hanging out with a bunch of teenagers? Mal and Rydel are in the backseat being cute and I wanna throw up.

"Hey can you keep it PG back there?" I ask.

"Hey don't be upset because you couldn't bring Kelley." Rydel says.

Mal smacks her arm.

"Its okay Rylee." Mal says.

We pull into the parking lot and and find a spot. We went inside and met up with everyone in the food court. We were all having fun and laughing but I noticed that Sofia was being a little distant. Ryan, Shane, and Mark go into some sneaker store while we going into Bath & Bodywork. I go over to talk to Sofia

"Hey what's going on with you?" I ask.

"Nothing." She says.

I take her hand and step closer to her.

"I still don't like when you like to me." I say.

"Rylee I can't do this." She says.

"Do what?"

"Be around you, I'm still in love with you but you just want to be friends. I can't do that when the person I want it standing right in front of me and I can't have her!"

Tears are now streaming down her face, I look down at my feet.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know you felt this way." I say.

"Tell me something, did you ever really love me?"

"I did, I still do."

"Then why aren't we together?"

"Because the love I feel for you isn't the same as before. I love some else and this person is on my mind all the time."

Sofia nods her head and wipes the tears off of her face.

"You know the day you broke up with me I went home and just asked myself why. Was there something I could have done differently? Was it even something I did? So many questions were going through my head and I needed you to answer them. But you just did so Rylee no, no I can't be friends with you. Its to hard for me to stand in the same room with you and not be able to call you mine. I hope you have a good life and happy new years."

Sofia walks out the store and I watch her leave. Rydel comes over to me and takes my hand.

"Hey its for the best." She says.

I nod my head and continue shopping. I saw everyone else coupled up and having a good time but I couldn't get my mind off everything Sofia said to me. I pulled Rydel to the side before we went into the next store.

"I need to go home now." I say.

She looks me in my eyes and nods her head. She tells everyone I'm not feeling well and we head back to the house. I sat in the back with Mal while Rydel drove. Mal didn't try to ask me if I was okay she just let me lay my head in her lap and played with my hair. When we got home Mom and Carli tried to talk to me but I just ran to my room and into the bathroom. Rydel, Carli, and Mom were right behind me. I put up the seat up and threw up everything. Mom was holding my hair and rubbing my back. When I finally stopped I turned and sobbed into Mom's chest. When I calm down enough we move to my bed.

"What happened?" Mom ask.

I just keep my head in her chest.

"Sofia." Rydel says.

"What did she say?" Carli ask.

"How Rylee broke her heart and didn't want to be her friend anymore because it was to hard." Rydel says.

"I didn't mean to hurt her." I say.

"Hey its okay." Carli says.

"Yeah people get their heartbroken all the time. It doesn't make it any easier but its life." Mom says.

I clean myself up then go into the living room where everyone else is. Kelley is sitting on the couch and I go and cuddle into her, she wraps her arm around me and we watch whatever Rachel is watching on TV.

So it gets late rather quick and we're all in the living room watching the ball drop.

HAPPY NEW YEARS!" Everyone screams.

I want to kiss Kelley so bad but I know I can't but Mal and Rydel are making out in the corner.

"GET A ROOM!" Rachel yells.

She throws a pillow at them and we all laugh. So A lot of things are going to be happening next year, National Team Camp, School, Kelley, and a hell of a lot of drama...
