I handed Claire her textbook my hand slightly grazed her hand. She blushed immensely and pulled back. Her green eyes met my blue eyes, and as we were still knealing by the desks, I tucked a piece of her golden hair behind her eye.
"Excuse me!" Mr.Masrani yelled.
Claire jumped and hit her head lightly on the side of the desk.
"Ow," she mumbled."Sorry, sir. I was just helping her with her books, they fell and-"
"And you were also fixing her hair... please leave my class. I don't need romance in my class, mocking me that my wife left me.." he sighed dramatically.
"Oh, I'm... I'm sorry?" Claire said. She quickly picked up the rest of her books, and stood up. I was still mortally embarrassed by Mr.Masrani interrupting our little moment... that probably wasn't to go anywhere- she's way to good for me anyways. I stood up and walked besides Claire. Our arms slightly touched, and I felt her shiver at our contact. I smirked and look at her.
"Well that was embarrassing," she laughed sheepishly, "The wife is probably getting a divorce with him cause' he's too weird."
I laughed. I didn't know Claire could be comical, "Ya," I scratched the back of my neck.
"Thank you.. again... for helping me.." she smiled.
"Anytime," I smiled and put my hand on her shoulder. She blushed immensely and pulled back. "I'm sorry Vanessa so mean, sometimes."
Claire looked up at me with her big eyes and gave a weak smile.
"Thank you. I'm used to her side comments by now," she sighed and pushed her bangs from her face. I smiled at her beauty and innocence. "I, um, better get going, though," she smiled and turned slightly. "I'll see you tomorrow?""Absolutely," I grinned. I couldn't wait for tomorrow.
