Ari's POV

Now it's time to break it on Jacob that I'm going out with Hayes. Yes Hayes Grier is my boyfriend. Get over it.

I think I like Jacob though.

"Hey Chlo I'm leaving!" I yelled from her front door. "Bye!" She yelled back.

Jacob stumbled down the stairs. I laughed. He hugged me.

"Bye Ari." He said. "Bye." I said wiggling out of the hug. "Text me if you need anything or need someone." He whispered. "Okay." I said back.

"Bye!" I yelled and closed Chlo's front door and walked home.

"Mom! I'm home!" I yelled.

"Hi honey!" She yelled from the kitchen.

I walked upstairs to put my bags and other things down. My phone rang. It was Hayes.

"Hey beautiful!" He said happily. I smiled at him. "Guess what?!" He asked. "What?" I replied not knowing anything. "I'm coming to Virginia to see you!" He said. "For real!" I yelled. "Calm down." He laughed. "Okay well I have to go girlfriend." He smiled at me. "Okay bye boyfriend." I said and ended the FaceTime call.

I put my things back in my drawers and crap like that.

3 hours later...cos y not?

I heard my mom call me from downstairs. Ugh what does she want now?

I walked downstairs and saw Hayes. I was so happy.

"HAYES!" I jumped into his arms and he fell on the carpet. I landed on top of him. We both laughed super hard.

"I'm so glad to see you!" He said getting up. "Me too!" I said.

His hugs felt so right. But so did Jacob's.

I saw Jacob standing in front of the door. "Um hey." I said awkwardly. "Hey, you forgot your headphones at Chloe's house." He said handing me my white apple headphones. "Thanks."  I replied picking the headphones up from his hand. "Are you Jacob?" Hayes asked. Damnit. "Yeah, so I see Ari talks about me." He smiled brightly. I tried to hide my laugh. "Uh no." Hayes replied. "Oh sorry." Jacob said.

"It's okay. I actually have to go use the restroom. " Hayes said. "Okay." I said and he kissed my cheek and left. "Who's that?" Jacob asked. "My boyfriend." I replied confidently. "HAYES GRIER IS YOUR BOYFRIEND!" Jacob yelled. "Dude shut up." I said to him.
