Chapter 13

The doctor ran blood tests to find out what had been used on Ash. Jinxx sat in the waiting room waiting for any news.

It ended up that a mixture of drugs had been used on Ash, to make sure he wouldn't be able to speak or fight back in any way at all, and lose sense of his surroundings. Whoever drugged him intended on kidnapping him.

When Jinxx was told of Ash's condition, he was scared. The thought of losing Ash crippled him with fear. Jinxx didn't want Ash to work there anymore. He also wanted the guy arrested. The police were involved at that point.

When Ashley came around and began to take in his surroundings in again, move and was able to speak, he was allowed visitors. Jinxx sat waiting to see Ash. His anxiety and fear left him a mess. He'd had multiple panic attacks and was overall freaked out. A doctor finally came to get Jinxx and took him to Ash's room.

Jinxx let out a breath he'd been holding. When he got to see Ash, he was feeling tired. It was 6 am and he'd not slept at all. When Ashley Saw Jinxx, he reached his arms out to him, he was scared. Jinxx held ash close and said, "Oh god, I was so scared."

Ashley held onto Jinxx, like he was a lifeline. "Jinxx." He whimpered pathetically.

"Its okay baby. I have you. Nothing happened. I kept an eye on you and made sure you were removed from the situation before anything bad happened."

Ashley nodded a little, still clinging onto Jinxx. He had loved working at the club, but right now he wasn't so sure.

"Staff at the club is gonna change so this doesn't happen again. I don't want this happening to you or anyone else. And that guy got arrested. Six identified him to the police."

Ashley nodded a little, "Am I still allowed to work there?" he asked quietly.

"If you are comfortable doing that. If you are, I am going to personally make sure that the security is better, even if that means I work there without pay. I will not allow anything like that to happen again."

Ashley nodded a little, again, hiding his face, "o-okay."

"If you don't want to return, we'll find new jobs and avoid that kind of work. I think it's scary that people recognize you and follow you and stuff."

"Okay...I like performing like that for people though."

"Ok. Then we can work something out, I'm sure."

Ashley nodded again, "okay."

"Now rest my love, your body is very tired."

Ashley lay back down slowly. Once Ash was asleep, Jinxx sat down. He knew how scared Ash was. He had been in a similar situation but didn't have someone looking out for him like this. Ash slept soundly, despite how scared he'd been and was. Jinxx watched him sleep, for he himself was exhausted but could not sleep.

By noon, Jinxx was finally falling asleep but only because of pure exhaustion. Ashley stayed asleep, the drug had been pumped out of his stomach and it left him exhausted. Jinxx got maybe 3 hours of sleep when the nurse woke him up and told him that they were going to run tests on Ash to make sure the drug was out of his system. He felt like utter shit but left the room. Ash had woken up by them and mumbled a bye to Jinxx when Jinxx left. Jinxx kissed Ash's forehead briefly before he'd left. He sat down in a chair outside the room and began to drift off.

Ash didn't like it when they stuck needles into him. He knew they needed to make sure the drug was out of his bloodstream but he still didn't like it. Jinxx fell asleep for a bit before the nurse woke him up again and let him back into the room. As he got up, he got dizzy but shook it off. He sat down beside Ash and let Ash cuddle him. Ash was more important and needed his comfort, so he tried to hide his exhaustion and discomfort; he wanted Ash to be ok.
