Chapter 14

Jinxx woke up in the evening feeling tired. Ashley was awake by that time and dressed in the clothes he'd worn at the club. Jinxx smiled at him weakly.

"Hiya." Ashley smiled at Jinxx a little.

"H-hey."

"How're you feeling?" Ash asked him.

"Shitty but better than before." He answered.

"I'm glad you feel better." Ashley smiled a little bit.

"Thank you. How are you feeling?"

"I feel goooooooooooooooooooooooooood."

Ashley kissed Jinxx's cheek, "don't take medicine that's out of date."

"So that's what it was?" Jinxx said, he hadn't been told what happened.

"Mhm, you took medicine that was expired."

"Oh. I didn't know it was expired."

"Maybe you should check the date on things."

"I thought I did. They weren't that old. A few months if anything, but yeah I guess I'm throwing them out now."

"Uh yeah...Ok, so what do you take medication for?"

"Insomnia, Depression and Anxiety. I don't need my medication all the time, only when it gets bad."

Ashley nodded, "Please make sure you always have ones in date."

"I will from now on."

Ash smiled faintly. Jinxx smiled, he hadn't meant to take expired medicine. He'd been so worried about Ash that he hadn't noticed. Ashley leant over and gently pecked Jinxx on the lips. Jinxx kissed back and smiled. The doctor came in and explained to Jinxx what his medications did. He also mentioned that they switched one medication so it wouldn't me a reaction like that with just taking them. Ashley stayed quiet a he also listened to what the doctor said. He hoped they could go home soon.

Jinxx's new medications would not react so badly with each other, but it'd take a month or so to find the proper dosage, according to the doctor. Jinxx only planned on taking the pills when needed. Ashley had gone back to his own bed, he was glad that the medication would suit Jinxx better.

By 10pm that night, Jinxx was allowed to go. Ashley had already been allowed to go but he had stuck around for Jinxx. Once they got home, they fed the hungry pets and got in bed. Ashley cuddled up to Jinxx when they got in bed; he wanted comfort. Jinxx held Ash and gave him what he seeked. Ash drifted off to sleep quickly while Jinxx lay awake, before eventually falling asleep.

Jinxx slept soundly out of pure exhaustion. The last 24 hours had been very hectic. Ashley slept until noon the next day. Jinxx got up around 10, it was late for him but he'd gone to bed around 1 am. Ashley groaned when he woke up at noon, "Oh my god my back." Jinxx made lunch and went to see if Ash was awake yet.

Ash was stretching when Jinxx entered the room. "Morning love. I made lunch since its 12."

"I slept till noon?"

"Yeah, I'll bring you your food you royal pain in the ass that I love so much." Jinxx said in a crappy British accent. "Yay!" Ash smiled. Jinxx smiled and brought it in. he'd made a turkey sandwich and lemonade. When Jinxx looked at Ash, he thought he looked perfect. His hair was messy from sleeping on it, he wore no make up and he had a 'morning voice' which Jinxx thought was hot.

Ashley smiled at Jinxx, he reached out to take the food. Jinxx handed it and then sat beside Ash, he had already ate. Ashley began to eat, humming as he did, "this is really good."
