Ashley groaned softly as he opened his eyes. He wasn't sure why he woke up but he knew it was still very early in the morning. Looking around, he didn't see Jinxx so he called out for the other man. Getting no response, he walked out of the bedroom and into the living room where he managed to find the couch in the dark. He saw Jinxx sitting there, and was very confused. "Jinxx." He said softly.

Tears silently rolled down Jinxx's cheeks. His thoughts told him he was dumb and a failure and that he would never amount to anything. Getting stuck in a flashback, he didn't hear Ash call his name. After Ash called his name a few times, he came around a little bit. He totally had forgotten Ash was there, and that he wasn't alone.

Ash repeated himself and touched Jinxx's shoulder. Jinxx flinched at the contact and mumbled something. Ashley raised an eye brow and asked, "what?"

"H-H-hi." Jinxx stuttered. He had a panic attack while in his fazed moment and that left him the mess that he currently was. Not wanting Ash to see him see him as the mess he was, he covered himself some more.

Ash realized that Jinxx was upset and immediately sat down beside him to comfort it. "What's wrong blue eyes?" he asked.

"Nightmare." Was all Jinxx could mutter softly. He was embarrassed.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Ash asked.

" It was a memory from a long time ago. I wish it'd go away forever. Every time it comes back, it ruins things." Jinxx whispered.

Ash nodded and asked if he tried going to therapy to get help and get better, Jinxx said, "Y-yes, they always say the same thing: take medication until it goes away, but I don't wanna. I don't like the medications. I don't need them." He felt as if the drugs made him a zombie, and that made him miserable.

Ash leaned back from their embrace a little bit, "Have you tried talking about exactly what it is?" he asked.

Jinxx answered him, "I hate reliving it more. But every time I have a nightmare, I go back to that night all over again and it happens all over again. I'm 24 and I can't get over something that happened when I was 16. How pathetic is that?" he asked.

"Its not pathetic at all. Although I don't know what it is, it must have been very traumatizing for you. And sometimes the only way to let go of something is to talk about it. Talking to someone you trust helps, I promise it does."

"Y-yeah. Wh-what time is it?" Jinxx asked.

"ummmm..." Ash said as he looked around the room. Once he spotted the clock he said, "Half past 4 in the morning." He mumbled softly, with fatigue in his voice.

"Oh." Jinxx was tired but he knew he wouldn't be able to sleep. He knew that Ash was probably tired so he suggested that the other man go to bed, he'd be all right.

"Are you sure?" Ash asked quietly. "Why, why don't you come back to bed with me? Maybe you'll be able to sleep better there." Ash suggested.

"M-maybe, but only if its ok with you." Jinxx didn't want Ash to pity him or be uncomfortable with him.

"I want you to come to bed with me."

Jinxx nodded and stood slowly, his legs shook beneathhim. Ashley got up as well and supported Jinxx as best as he could as he ledhim back to the bed. s/repoq;\eu
