I woke up late today realizing my mom didn't wake me up because she knows I still wasn't feeling well. I went down to the kitchen and saw my mom left me a note saying they were going on a date and coming home late and there was food in the fridge if ever I get hungry. Okay so I'm alone all day what am I supposed to do? Then the door rang. I opened it right away not knowing who was the person behind it. When I opened It I saw a familiar set of blue eyes.
"Good morning Hailey, I brought breakfast." he said that while flashing a smile at me.
"Thanks. Did you skip school?"
"Yeah. I've decided that I'll just accompany you today while your parents are away."
"You don't have to Nathan. I'm fine by myself."
We sat down at our dining table and I started eating.
"I'm just worried of what you'll do when your sad and broken like this."
"Nathan I wouldn't do anything bad to myself if that's what you're worrying about."
"I'll just stay here just to make sure. And that you wouldn't feel lonely too. I'll be your pillow, teddy bear, tissue, I'll be anything you want today. I'm all yours."
I blushed at his choice of words. Why is he acting like this? I finished my breakfast and started thinking what should we do today hmmm..... Movie marathon? Sounds like a good idea.
"So what are we going to do today?"
"Were going to watch a movie hahaha."
"Okay hahaha what movies do you want to watch?"
"Nicholas Spark's movies. Because I'm broken."
"Come on! I thought we're going to watch a comedy film or a horror film! Do you really wanna cry? Nicholas Sparks? Really?"
I gave him a 'I'm serious about watching a Nicholas Sparks movie' look
"Fine! Fine! Let's watch a movie that would make you cry."
"Atleast I would be crying because of the movie not because of him."
I cuddled up in the sofa and he started playing the movie 'The Notebook'. We were silent while watching. I was silently crying. I don't know the movie wasn't even on the dramatic part but I was now crying.
"I thought you wouldn't cry because of him?"
"I wasn't, okay?"
"Okay, if you say so."
The movie ended and neither of us talked. I just kept crying, I don't know maybe because I'm just really sad and hurt.
"Shhh stop crying."
"Can I hug you?"
"Ofcourse you can. I told you, I'm all yours for today."
Then I hugged him. I'm crying in his arms. He was rubbing small circles in my back. I find it comforting, it made me feel relaxed. I eventually stopped crying after that. I faced Nathan.
"Thank you Nathan. Thank you for being here today and for the breakfast."
"You're always welcome. I'll always be here for you."
Then he kissed me on the forehead.
"Hailey, would you do me a favor?"
"What is it?"
"Stop loving him."
"I don't know how."
"Just stop, Hailey there is someone who's much better than him."
"Who? Tell me who!"
"Me. Hailey can't you see? I'm inlove with you!"
Nathan is inlove with me? I don't know what to feel.
