I didn't see Gavin or Nathan anywhere after lunch. The classes were over and I was the first one to ride the bus because there is no one to take me home. Gavin is absent I wonder why he didn't go to school today. I'll ask him tomorrow after all we are friends.
"Excuse me, can I seat next to you?"
I was busy with my Ipod that I didn't notice who was trying to seat next to me. I found the song I wanted to listen to so I didn't bother anyone taking the seat next to me.
"Sure."
I put my earphones on and ignored the person beside me.
All I knew, this morning when I woke, Is I know something now, know something now I didn't before.
"Hailey, please forgive me. I didn't mean to do those things. I didn't mean to make fun of you behind your back. We were kids back then, I was so immature and you were sensitive about things like that because I know it was so hard for you to trust people. I'm so sorry Olive."

The bus is almost near my house and I was about to stand up from my seat when I noticed the person beside me was Nathan. He was looking at me he was pleading. I don't know why so I give him a puzzled look and then I stood up and went to go out of the bus. I could feel him following me until I got down from the bus.
"Nathan why are you following me?"
"I'm not. My house is right there, I just moved here remember?"
He then pointed the house beside us. The house where the delivery man delivered the furniture and appliances. So they were the ones who moved to our neighborhood? Great we're neighbors again. But we're not friends. Not anymore.
"Oh okay. I better get going."
"How's Mr & Mrs Miller? Are you going to the dinner later?"
"Um they're fine. I don't know, I have so many things to do."
"Is that so? I really hope you would come Oli- I mean Hailey. Mom is cooking our favorite baked potatoes."
"I'll think about it Nathan."
"I'm really sorry Hailey. For everything."
"I'm really sorry too, Nathan. Now is not the right time for this."
All I know since yesterday, and everything has changed.
