If you're wondering if Gavin and I are officially dating then the answer is NO. He haven't even told me face to face that he likes me. After our first class he didn't even talked to me, I wonder why..
It was lunch time and I was at my usual spot outside the cafeteria and no I'm not with Gavin although I thought that he would join me for lunch today since he was absent yesterday. I saw him with his friends before I head out to my usual spot and they were laughing about something. They didn't even notice me. Oh well I'm used to being alone and no one to laugh with.
"Excuse me. Would you mind if I seat with you? There's no vacant seat inside- Oh hi Hailey."
"Hi Nathan."
"Can I?"
"Yeah sure. I don't mind."
He started eating and I continued my reading. He begun to speak.
"Hailey, is Gavin Carter your friend?"
"Yeah why?"
"I don't trust him. I mean look at his friends they look like bullies."
"I don't need your opinion about my friend. When we were kids your friends looked like bullies too, but I still accepted you as my friend."
"That's not the point. Don't you think maybe he's just messing with you?"
"Why would he do that? He's not like you Nathan. He doesn't make fun of people behind their backs like you do."
"Hailey that was years ago. I already regretted what I've done. That's why I was saying sorry to you the other day."
"I know it was years ago. But because of you I find it hard to trust people and make new friends. You didn't know what you did affected not just me but my life."
Then I grabbed my things and leave. I know that he regretted what he did but I just couldn't find it in me to forgive him. Maybe I just need more time.
