As expected, when Blake and I walked in, the hallway parted and people started staring and whispering at us. It was a normal thing, really, it happened everyday. At first, it was really weird and I was overwhelmed by everything, but now it's nothing."Nice shoes, Stella!"
"Looking hot today, Stell!"
I gave them a small smile and walked towards my locker. Blake had already gone towards his fangirls, and I was shortly joined by Rosa.
Rosa Evans. She was the high-school sweetheart and my best friend. Also, the head cheerleader. I never really had an interest for sports, let alone cheer-leading. Lets just say, whenever I try sports, things don't end up well. Anyways, back to Rosa. I met her when I went to my first ever "party"- party at Luke's house. We both didn't know any people there so we just lounged around on the couch, bitching about random people. Soon enough, she became my best friend and now she's dating Luke. Pretty good, right? Well, she's a really fun person to be around and unlike many popular girls, she's not snobbish at all.
"Oh.my.god. Stella! Did you hear about the Steve-Rebecaa gossip flying around?"
"No, fill me in!"
"Well, rumors have it that Steve cheated on Rebecca with that girl who wears that bright green cardigan everyday", she says while looking at her nails.
"No way! Anyways, do these shoes match my outfit?", I ask her. In a hurry, I just took out the most random shoes and wore them. Even though a guy gave me a compliment on them today, I really don't think bright pink Nike sneakers would go well with my entire outfit. And, I can't risk being a fashion disaster so, yeah I ask Rosa.
"No bitch, just no. Anyways, I have some black heels in my bag 'cause I gotta go to a stupid lunch with mom after school so, you can wear them till school ends."
"Yes! Thank you so much, I love you, you're the best!", I say, hugging her tightly.
"Can't.Br-breathe."

It was time for lunch. I, as usual sat in the middle of the cafeteria with Blake and Rosa (and Luke). I almost wanted throw up looking at the two love birds eating each other's face off. I cough awkwardly which causes them to stop and look at me. When they realize that I really have nothing to say, they get back to shoving their tongues down each other's mouths. Lovely. Blake and I awkwardly look around the room. Just as I was about to get up and go to the washroom to reapply some blush and gloss, my eyes land on a guy, no, a hot guy, ppsh no, a really hot guy. Damn. I almost know everyone in school but how come I'v never seen him around. I nudge Blake with my elbow and subtly point towards the guy who's currently on his phone in the far corner of the cafeteria.
"Who's he?", I ask him. Blake is friends with all of the popular seniors (and some sophomores) of our school so I thought he might know.
"Alex Ross. He just joined school. Our headmaster is his uncle."
"He's so hot."
Blake looks amused and them he gives me that sly smirk of his.
"Alex and Kittie sitting on a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G, first co-"
"Shut up!", I try not to laugh, " I don't even know him."
"Well, we can change that"
