I'm surprised to see so many people clapping, as if they know who I am. But they are probably just being polite by clapping, since they probably don't know who I am. I see Ellen open for a hug as I reach her. She hugs me and I hug her back, then sit on the red chair set for me.
"Hi" she says leisurely.
"Hello" I smile as I release a sigh.
"So, let me get this straight. This is your first interview?" she asks.
"It is" I smile. "Thank you for having me."
"Your welcome. How do you like it so far?" she laughs.
"It's great! I'm all loaded up on cotton candy, so everything's going awesome." I laugh. She laughs back, knowing that the British girls where running around backstage with buckets of the stuff.
"So, I'm guessing you met Sophia Grace and Rosie?" she smiles and the audience laughs.
"Yes, yes I did." I tell her. "They had gone through about 5 buckets of the stuff last time I saw them. So they are probably on a sugar high by now." I laugh. Ellen laughs. The audience laughs.
"So, do you write your own songs?" she asks.
"Um. Well, I write most of them along with some other talented song writers that I'm fortunate enough to work with." I tell her.
"Did you just start writing songs or has that been a thing that you've liked to do since you were little?"
"I've been writing songs for as long as I can remember. Not that most of them made sense or even sounded good, but I enjoyed making them."
"Have you always wanted to be a singer?" she asked.
"Well, I was always good at it, and it became more apparent as I got older. So eventually I started thinking about the idea, and decided that's what I wanted to do." I tell her.
"What would you have done if this didn't work out?"
"I had quite a few things that were sort of my backup plan. I wanted to act also. But I knew that singing and acting wasn't something you can do together. It was either or. But I was also interested in interior designing and baking. So I there was many things I was considering." I explain.
"And did your singing career come together recently or has this been something in the making?" she asks.
"I've been trying to get this to happen for a while. But yeah, it all started to come together pretty recently. So it's all just really exciting." I smile.
"That must be really amazing, for it all to just fall into place suddenly." she smiles back.
"It is." I confirm with another smile.
"So," she gives a devilish smile. "I always have to ask...Are you dating anyone?" she says. I hear chuckles and giggles from the audience.
