"So, who was that James guy?" says Josh
"No one. He was just the guy in charge of the contest." I laugh and hit him in the stomach. We both start laughing as we walk down the sidewalk.
"So......I'm going to a party tonight, and I was wandering if you wanted to come?" Josh says
"Sure, what time is it?" I ask
"8:00 tonight.
"Okay. What should I wear?"
"Anything" he laughs
"Just normal stuff" he adds
"Okay" I say
"I'll pick you up at 7:30"
"Sounds good" I tell him while I smile. He looks into my eyes and laughs. Then kisses me. That's when I saw someone in the bushes.
"Josh, there's someone in the bushes." I whisper
"Just ignore them." he says and bends over and picks up a flower from along the sidewalk.
"Here you go my lady" he laughs as he hands me the half dead flower.
"Thank you, kind sir" I laugh as I take it.
We reach my house and I hug him goodbye. Once I get inside, I lay on my bed. I get a call from the radio station. They want to be able to play my song by tomorrow. What!? We just started making it today! I guess I'm going to have to go back tonight and finish it. What about the party? And I left my car at the studio.
I call Josh and tell him I need a ride to the studio.
"Are you gonna be able to go to the party?" he says
"Yeah, I'll just try to finish it quickly"
"Do you still want me to drive you?" he says
"Nah, it's fine. I'll meet up with you there. I just need the address." I say
"Alright" he says, then gives me the address.
"I'll see you soon" he says
"Bye" I smile.
I get out of the car and go into the studio. I then meet up with Mr. Bruno and finish writing the song. By the time I'm done, it 7:30 exactly, and I haven't even gotten in the car yet.
Once I do, I try to find the address, but it's not very hard, since the whole block was packed with cars. I finally find a spot to park and by the time I get in the back yard, it's like 8:20.
It's PACKED with people. But before I got in, I had to be checked to see if I was on the "list". I knew I wasn't going to be, but then, I was! Josh must have told them I was coming. On the way in, I see a bunch of famous people. I saw Victoria Justice and a bunch if other people. But I never stopped to say hi. I was just interested in finding Josh.
"Emma! Over here!" I hear to my left.
I follow the voice and see him waving.
"You made it!" he says
"Yeah, it took me a half an hour just to park! But I finally got in." I tell him.
He is surrounded by unfamiliar looking men. He introduces me to them, and then Avan came over. Apparently, Josh is best friends with Avan Jogia, I think he is on a kids show. He's really funny! Almost everything he said was a joke. He's so nice though. He and Josh sort of have similar personality, so I see why they are such good friends.
When Josh introduced me to Avan, he said:
"This is my girlfriend, Emma."
"Nice to meet you Emma." Avan said as he shook my hand.
"It's nice to meet you." I told him
I see Avan give Josh a look, and they both smiled.
"What?" I let out, I wish I didn't.
"Nothing. You just seem so polite to be with Josh." he laughed
"No. You just need to get to know her." Josh tells him, while laughing.
I laugh and move next to Josh. After a few hours, I think Avan finally figured out what I was like. I'm actually REALLY goofy. I laugh all the time, and if I can say so myself, I am quite funny. I'm very outgoing and quirky, but not dumb. I'm smart, smart about what I do, what I say, and whom I'm close with.
During the night, I got rather close with Ariana Grande. She's really nice, and sweet. But it's like 11:30, and everyone starts calling it a night.
"Can you drive me home? A friend brought me here, so I don't have my car." Josh says
"Sure." I tell him. Then we head to my car. It takes forever because everyone is trying to get out at once. Between that and the traffic, it's 1:40 by the time I drop Josh off. Once I get into his driveway and stop the car, he looks at me.
"It means a lot, that you came to the party. I'm glad you got to meet most of my friends."
"Yeah, it was nice. Maybe I could schedule a time for you to meet all of my friends." I tell him
"Defiantly."
He stares at me for a few seconds, then leans in and we kiss. It was beautiful. The stars were out, the night sky was dark. Just him and me.
"I'll text you later." he says as he walks up the driveway.
"Okay. See ya." I say as I pull out.
