Sams pov

Today I decided to wear my ripped up black skinny jeans a red and black flannel my combat boot tied a block bandana around my head grabbed my gun and my knife and walked down stairs to talk to Rick.

Rick decided to to let Luke work on the farm to earn his part in the group, he made it very clear to the boy that if he were to try anything he would be killed.

He was only going that far to make sure if he had a group he wouldn't bring them back to us ,he was told he had to have an escort on him at all times to make sure he didn't try anything

Guess who was on first watch.....I was

Carl wasn't happy about Rick making me have first watch. But Daryl was putting up a fight he didn't want me near Luke

"SHES NOT GONNA BE ON FIRST WATCH RICK SOMETHING COULD HAPPEN TO HER HE COULD DO SOMETHING, YOUR PUTTIN HER IN DANGER, AN I AINT LETTIN YOU DO THAT!" Daryl spat angrily at Rick

Rick didn't have any response to him so he just walked off back to the house
Daryl approached me making a thud on the Wooden floors with each step he took, he looked me in the eyes
"Baby, you keep your gun on you at all times with that safety off in case he tries anything, you understand?"Daryl said trying to be as calm as he could

"I know Daryl I'm gonna be ok"
I walked up and hugged him right as Rick brought Luke into the room.

Daryl hurried off slamming his shoulder into the kid sending him to the floor
"DARYL" Rick Called after him as he stormed off

"I was told I am going to be helping out with farming? And I was also told you were my escort today?"

I nodded my head and started to walk towards the farming area with Luke on my tail. I heard him mumble something behind me "huh I get to be escorted around by the cutest girl ever" I pretended I hadn't heard him and continued to make my way to the farm picking up the pace a little bit I noticed a lone walker stumbling around inside the fence. "RICK!" I called out as a few more came around the corner.
The thundering sound of running filled my ears as I heard Carl "Sam look out!"
I wasn't paying attention to what was going on around me only focussing on when help was gonna be here, it felt like very thing was in slow motion as I was pushed to the ground by something I didn't see what it was till I opened my eyes after my shoulder connected with the ground. My vision was blurry but I saw what took me to the ground it was Luke, a searing pain shot threw my shoulder looking to see that I had a knife sticking out on my shoulder.

Daryl was quick to jump on  the kid beating him to death before Rick scooped me up into his arms running to the house calling for Hershel, my vision was was going blurry so I couldn't make out who was running behind us in pretty sure it was Daryl and Rick but I couldn't tell.

Last thing I remember was that we got into the house and I blacked out from blood loss.
