Chapter 5

|So sorry that I haven't updated guys I have had writers block and fighting with my boyfriend so I'm back now tho|

*Flashback*

Carl's pov

I was about to answer daryls question if I liked Sam but I got cut off my screams and gun shots

Daryl grabs his cross bow while I sit there in shock

"Common kid" he says as he begins to run

I ran after him we got to the house to see walkers coming out of the wood , it looked to be a over a dozen of them.
Sam and beth are shooting , one walker Sam shot fell to the ground but wasn't dead
It was crawling to her and she didn't see.

It grabbed he ankle and she was screaming her head off shaking he ankle , I grab my gun and shoot it in between the eyes.

Sam ran to me hugging me like she never wanted to let go.....i didn't ever want to let her go

*end of flashback*

Sam's pov

Every thing was getting back to normal back at the barn except one thing...we found Sophia as a walker the other day ,we all took it pretty hard especially Carol and me.
I think the only good thing about this past week was my answer to carl asking me to be his girlfriend
Before I said anything to him agun shot went off we went and saw walker Sophia I started crying and that's before I said yes

Daryl was surprisingly ok with it but Rick wasn't really but it's not his choice.

Me and carl found this really cute creek sorta thing a little while ago so I took Jack down there with me to give him a bath ,cause he's literally saturated in dirt.

I took a small chunk of soap with me and a towel for him and we started out walk down there I started to scrub Jack with the piece of soap and a little brush I had in my back pack ,I was almost done when I felt something on my shoulder

Thinking it was carl I turned around to see a walker about to bite my shoulder
I screamed at the top of my lungs

I was franticly searching for my hunting knife some where but couldn't find it I was about to give up and scream for help again till a bullet went through its head.

I got up really quickly thinking Carl of someone from the group had just saved my life ........but no it wasn't anyone I knew there was a boy who looked about my age

" Hi my names Luke , it's nice to find someone alive for a change"
