It's the end of the world as we know it

Chapter 1

Sam's pov
It's been about a month I'm pretty sure.
I'm all alone after the mall when this first started , my friends just left me
They left me behind , I didn't know what to do so I started running and running. I finally made it to my house after 20 minutes, I turned on the tv
As I'm gasping for air I'm shocked
At what's before my eyes a sickness or something, turning people into in-to monsters.
I frantically ran around the house trying to find some weapon of some sort I end up getting my bow and arrow my dads 22 pistol a holster as well as 2 knifes ,but what I really needed to find was my brother daryl I searched everywhere but I couldn't find him I started to freak out, but out of no where there was loud banging noises at the door, I knew I had to get out of here.

I ran to my room to grab my keys (Ya a 14 year old who can drive so what),
I quietly made my way out the back door to my car it's a 70's mustang
I can leave it behind but as I got
Into my car my dog Jack came out of a bush I opend the passenger door he jumped in I started my car and I spend off the road to Atlanta hoping to find my brother , or anybody maybe I just don't wanna be Alone ,scared or tired anymore

~ 3 months later
I've been staying in a shelter I made on a roof top of a tall building
Away from the walkers Atlanta sucks though ,there's walkers every where, but I'm pretty sure I saw a group of people so I'm gonna go with jack to look around see if I can't find them ,maybe some food to I haven't eaten in 3 days neither has jack.
Jack waited patiently for me to get my boots on
He would usually start barking really loud by now but I had to train him not to.
I was walking around with Jack checking as many building that weren't walker infested ,I was just about to pass a department store when I heard arguing coming from inside so I decided to check it out, I had to take jack off his leash so I could hold my bow not a very good idea he decided to run off to the store himself with me chasing after him yelling "JACK YOU DUMBASS STOP RUNNING"
It was to late he ran through a gap between a couple prices of wood co wring the department store window I had to go into the store to get him , took me a few minutes to find him. I started I walk to the back
Of the store, I was turning the corner when I was attacked by a walker
I started screaming for help at the top of my lungs Jack was doing nothing but barking at the thing , I didn't think I was gonna make it out of this situation. my arms were getting weaker as I tried to hold the beast off me I was about to give up when I heard the silenced sound of a gun shot go off and the walker went limp, falling off me.
I stood up and to see a man in a sheriff uniform and a blonde woman but Something was off I didn't know what it was till I saw the blonde woman had her pistol at me. The man he said his name was Rick and she was Andrea
They told me they had a bigger group
But we needed to find a way back
I was able to join if I helped them
So I told them I had a car not so far ,so I told them to get into there can they had and I would create a distraction
With mine ,cause mine makes more noise I took Jack with me for company.
