[04] Healing

Nana's POV

After spilling everything out to Jungkook, my chest felt lighter.
My burden was less than before.
My pain went away after he bandaged my arm.
For the first time, I actually felt the feeling of relief.

"Nana."
"Yes?"
"Promise me one thing."
"Sure, what is it?"
"Don't ever hurt yourself in anyway, okay?"
I hesitated.
"O-okay. I won't."

I couldn't believe I'd promise such a thing.
I guess, he isn't much of a bad friend as I thought he'd be.
Like those girls who left me to gain popularity. I wasn't hurt, I only realized that they were all fake.

Jungkook walked me home the next day. It felt wonderful to go outside. I never really appreciated nature that much before.

"See you tomorrow Nana!", he said as he ran off and waved.
"Bye Jungkook!"
I waved back.

I entered my house.
"Wow Nana, I haven't seen you this happy in years."
It was mom. I nodded.
"Nana, we have good news!", my dad exclaimed.
"What is it?"
"Mom and I now work together in the same business, but it's a bit far, so we're moving next week!"
"No! I don't want to move!"

I was glad that both of my parents began to get along, but this feeling. My chest, it hurts. I don't want to leave.

"Do you think you can give me some time mom and dad?"
"Sure! Just remember to be ready by next week!"
I nodded.

Back at it again~
I ran back to Jungkook's house to tell him about my situation.
Luckily, the door was unlocked, so I quickly rushed through.
"Jung-"
Jungkook. With another girl?
"J-Jiyoung?"
