Jungkook's POV

Nana?

I could see her parents' car drive toward my house.
I unlocked the door and walked out, waiting for them.
Suddenly, they curved to the left and drove further away.

Why did they turn?
There's a dead end on that side..
Dead. End.

I ran after them, calling out her name.
For some reason, they didn't stop.
They drove passed the dead end and into the forest.

Where is Nana going?

I slowed down and heard a loud crash from their direction.
I ran and ran, but was I too late again?

Their car was in flames. They crashed among the trees.

I ripped open the door, in search for her. Finding her motionless, I picked her up and carried her out alog with her parents.

"Eo-eomma!", I said on the phone, " please hurry and get p-passed the dead end, Nana's been hurt!"

I hung up the call and laid her head over my lap, brushing her hair as she took a deep sleep. Leaning over her chest to hear her heart beat, I sighed in relief. She's breathing.
The ash stained her pale cheeks and burns were all over Nana.

My parents came and brought hospital aid. The ambulances arrived, taking Nana and her parents away.

"Can I go with them?", I asked.
"I'm sorry sir, but you can't-"
"-please, I need to.", I said, looking back at my parents for approval. They nodded and the doctors and nurses brought me in.

Sitting beside Nana, I held her small, cold hands.

We wanted to be happy, but why does the bad get in our ways?

My grip on her tightened.

Please wake up soon.
