Are we safe

Brooksyns POV:
I'm so mad that Four acts like he cares and expects me to trust him.

" I'm sorry I brought you into this Zoe."
"It's okay Brook" Zoe says back to me.

I look at Tobias and he's just sitting there looking at the sun rising. It's probably 6:00 in the morning by now. It feels like we've been driving forever. I break the silence and ask Brad if we are almost there. And he told me that the building we were going to was just about a couple miles away.

Once  we reached the abandoned neighborhood, Brad parked at a house and Zoe and him got put the car. Four and I stand up in the trunk and while I was grabbing my stuff Brad comes around and unlatched the tail gate. Then four hopped down. When I went to the edge to get out, I see Brad standing there holding his hand out, to help me get down. I take his hand and hop out. 

Four still looked mad. I wonder if he got jealous when Brad helped me out. What the heck. Why would I want him to be jealous?! I don't like him...

Zoe walked up to me so that she was walking beside me. Four was ahead of us making sure no one was there.

"Brook" Zoe whispers to me
"What?" I reply
" I was just up there talking to four because I just met him baisicly, so I was trying to get to know him. Then we ended up talking about you. And he was talking about how you were just like tris and he's just trying to protect you but doesn't want to get close to you because he's afraid you'll hurt him like tris did when she switched sides. I don't really know. I think he forgot he was talking to me or something so I just walked back here and he didn't even notice..." She whispers to me

" well he needs to stop comparing me to his dead ex" I whisper back to Zoe

"It's understandable.., from what I've heard about how she use to be and if you compare it to you, you'll notice that you and her are a lot a like and besides that he must be in pain." Zoe whispers

I just ignore it and we keep walking around the house.

Tobias POV:
"Coast is clear!" I say. Making sure they could here me.

"Ok In here too" I hear Brad say back to me

I walk to what seems to have once been the living room, where all three of them  were standing.
I look at my watch to see what time it is
And it shows 8:00 am

" it's 8 am so get settled in and just rest if you want." I tell everyone

"Shouldn't we go up stairs an look at the bedrooms t see if there's enough?" Zoe asked me

" yea. Sure." I say as walking up to the second floor. Once we reach to top of the stairs, we stand on the perfect square floor on the left side, there was one Room and 2 rooms on the right side.

"Zoey and Brooksyn, you guys can split up and sleep there" I tell them as I pointed to the two doors.

"I'll sleep on the couch down stairs so I'll see or hear if someone comes up." Brad says.

I bet he's just trying to look all tuff In front of Brook but really it's at all.

"You sure?" I ask him. Trying to sound like I care.

"Nah it's fine." He says while walking down stairs.

Then I walk to my room. It had a nice big bed so that was nice. I lay my bag down and just sat there thinking about how crazy life is.

Next thing I know.  I woke up and it was dark. I looked at my watch, it was 10pm. I had sleepped a long time. That's for sure. I walk downstairs because I here voices. It was Brook sitting with Brad. I was soo mad. He needs to leave her alone

"It's 10 pm" I say. Letting them know I'm there.

"oh wow, I'm gonna go to bed then.  Goodnight Brook" Brad says

Brook looks at me. She was sitting on a old torn brown couch all alone now. I could've sat with her but she looked like she needed her space.

I went back up to my room to go to sleep. Shortly after I got to my room I heard feet come up the stairs. It was Brook. She was going  going to Bed I'm guessing. I  finally close my eyes and go to sleep.
