I didnt mean to

I make my way to the roof because that's pretty munch my go to spot when I need to think or something. As I reach the side of the roof I hear screaming. I look over the edge and I see soldiers. They had a line of people on there knees and they were pointing guns at the people. I Didn't know if the soldiers were punishing them or if the people out there knees had done something wrong but no one deserves to die. So I panicked and screened "STOP"

I'm actually surprised they heard me, considering they were probably at least 50ft down under me. With out hesitation it seems, they instantly point there gun up to ward the roof and began shooting at me. I ran into the shed on top of the roof because... To be honest, that's were I sleep, we were assigned rooms but I don't like sleeping in the same room as other people. Only the high ranked officers had there own room.

I grabbed my jacket and changed out of my shoes into my combat boots really fast. Then I jet down the stairs hoping that I wouldn't run into the soldiers, but I wanted to go help those people.

When I reached the bottom of the stares, I was stopped by some one grabbing my arm. They person asked me where I was going but I was focused on his hand and how tight it was on my arm, but I knew it was a man because his voice was deep.
Still looking at his hand, I say, "please stop, your hurting me." Under my breath."
He loosens his grip but doesn't let go. "I'm going to ask you one more time, where are you going, and why are you running."
"None of your business" I snapped while looking up at him
At that instant I revised who it was...
It was Tobias Eaton. He was one of the officers. After I realized I had just said that I said, " I mean... I..I..."  I couldn't help but stutter because I was so scared. Ever since last year, he has been so heartless and mean to everyone, his girlfriend named Tris betrayed him and switched sides and ever since then he has been cruel to people. But she died in war against him and his team, I guess he feels nothing anymore.
"You what? You forgot how to talk?" He snapped back
" I was just trying to get to my friend" I said
" we'll get to your friend slower miss Brooksyn, and we want have a problem."
He lets go and begins to walk away, " wait" I said in a rush.
He stooped in his tracks and turns his head barely, to look over his shoulder
"What" he said back to me
" how do you know my name..?" I asked very curiously.
" your files, I have to read everyone's files and look at there pictures to remember them for safety reasons." He says then walks away.

I started walking the opposite way, starting to forget what I was even doing. Then I remembered so I started to run again, but by the time I got outside, they went there anymore. Hopefully they ran away.

I began walking back down the hall, not knowing where I was really going, really I was just thinking about things on my mind. Finally I reach the stairs and begin to climb them back to the roof. I go into my shed and I just plop onto my bead and begin thinking about how society has become and comparing it to how I wish it was.
