We both want four?

Brooks POV:
The barn we were at had mattresses and I thought it was weird that they would be in a barn but then we all saw a group of people come into the middle of the barn where we could see them. I was behind Brad and Zoe was behind me and four was in front of all of us. He pulls out his gun bit a female voice says.

"stop! It's ok. They are looking for us too"

Is she talking about David?

"David??" I ask the girl with blond hair.

"Yes. We've been running from him for A week now. They are looking for us because we are the last of the pure divergents."

"That's why I'm running to! These are my friends, we are from dauntless and they are helping protect me." I respond

"Stop talking Brook" Four snaps at me.

What makes him think he can control me. After last night he might think he can do whatever but that is not the case! I walk past four and go up to the girl to show that I'm not afraid.

"Brook!" Four yells at me as I walk by, but I ignore him

"Nice to meet you... Brook." The girl says with a smirk.

She was very pretty but seemed a little rude.

"How many of you is there?" I ask her.

"Just 3... I see there's 4 of you"she says

"Yea" I reply.

2 boys walk up beside her.

"I'm Skylar." She says as she introduces herself. Then she points at the two boys. "And this is Blake and Luke."

They all say hey to us

"Well... Are you going to tell us your names?"she asks us

Four comes up and stands beside me and Zoe stands on the other's side then Brad comes up.

Zoe introduced her self, then Brad, then I told them my name, and then finally, Four said "my names Four."
"Well you're very handsome Four" she says as she smiles and lays her hand on his chest. I felt jealousy rush through out me.

He grabs her hand and pulls it off him as he says "be careful."

You could tell he was angry.

"I like you... Don't worry we will get alone. " she says as she smirks.

I was so mad. Who does she think she is. I didn't say anything because I haven't even talked to Four since last night. He's probably mad at me anyway because of how he's acting.

"We can stay together from now on. It's not safe to travel alone." John says.

"John!" Skylar shouts

" I call the shots in this group" she says to him and then looks at us.

"What about you guys? Who makes the shots in this group?" She asks looking at me.

I then look at Four.

"Ohh. So him? The tall dreamy boy." She smirks.

Four looks at her and smiles. What the hell is going on?

I instantly get so mad. I'm interrupted during my thoughts when one of the new guys we just met walked up to us and said "you guys can sleep over there on that side, there's 4 mattresses over there already.

I follow Zoe and Brad as they walk to the corner where the mattresses are. I sit down on one of them. Then, I feel someone sit next to me on the mattress. I look beside me to see who it was... And of course, it was Four.

"What the heck was that Four?" I say angrily to him.

"What do you mean??" He says confused

"Stop. Don't even do that. I saw you smile at her. And the way you looked at her. And you literally JUST met her. Did last night mean nothing to you at all?"

"I'm sorry. I didn't know I even smiled."he says to me.

"Yea right." I get up and storm out the barn.
