Percy snuck into our dorm room to hang out with Annabeth almost every night. It was after a week of this, that I thought of the simplest, most effective, completely overdone ways to get them together.

I threw a party.

It was on a weekend, so I rented out a hall, and invited a tonne of people; my friends, the few of them that existed, that is, Annabeth and Percy's friends, the shit-tonne of them that there was.

Then, we played those extremely cliched games that caused all sorts of drama in teen fiction and romance novels, and occasionally sent one of the ships sailing across the Atlantic. And let's face it, real life reenactment of that? Freaking. Awesome.

"Annabeth, truth or dare?" I asked with a grin.

She raised her chin defiantly. "Dare."

Excellent. "Kiss Percy." Cliched and totally stupid, but, hey, it worked in the movies and some shitty Romance that Annabeth flung at the door of our bedroom.

Annabeth blushed a brilliant red. "W-what?"

"Kiss. Percy." I repeated slowly, like I was talking to a three-year-old. With an afterthought, I added, "Lips, Annabeth."

Percy, his impeccable face the colour of a fire truck, still had a smug smirk on his face. Yeah, he wants this.

Annabeth tentatively leant over and pressed her lips to his. I didn't fail to notice Piper's fangirling, Leo's catcalling/gagging, and a disgruntled-looking Frank handing Hazel a mysterious, odd-looking coin, that Hazel pocketed with a satisfied smirk.

After about three seconds, Annabeth also seemed to notice the audience and pulled back, blushing furiously.

She took her seat next to me, fiddling with her fingers. "Julieeeeette," she whined quietly.

I patted her back. "What you should be saying is 'thank you, dear master Juliette. You're a fantabulous human being who has blessed my life. You just made my dream a reality, and for that I'm forever in your debt.'"

She smiled slightly and whispered. "Thank you."

I smirked at her victoriously. "You're welcome."

Eventually, it came around to Piper's turn. "Percy, Truth or Truth?" she asked.

He frowned stupidly at her. "I guess I have to say truth, don't I?"

"Yep," everyone chorused in unison.

Later on, I changed the game to another favourite of the cliche world if romances. Never Have I Ever.

This phase of the plan was small and simple, with little chance if success. I was just trying to exhaust my options so that I wasn't forced to resort to my closest high school friend, Lia Moore's, tactics.

Just shoving them together and forcing them to kiss while screaming, "GET TOGETHER YOU STUPID, ASS BITCHES. STOP BEING SUCH SPINELESS NOOBS AND ADMIT YOUR LOVE!"

"Never have I ever..." Piper said. "Kissed my friend's boyfriend."

Thankfully for the idiots playing, no one reached for the alcohol lying before them.

"Your go, Juliette." Annabeth looked at me with apprehension.

I grinned back at her innocently. "Never have I ever... Been in love with my best friend."
