Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase had secured my position as Goode High School's resident Gossip Girl.

Apparently, the internet truly is killing the brain cells of my generation. A television show had sparked an influx of gossip websites that centred on the lives of high school students.

The students of Goode High had an unhealthy obsession with Percy and Annabeth, and I had an obsession with popularity. And a talent for giving the people what they want.

I didn't post my gossip anonymously, because that would put a wrench in my popularity plans, but I did write something about Percy and Annabeth daily. I mean, come on guys. I have daily material about your relationship and you're still not together? C'mon.

I always spent my lunch break in a secluded alcove in the courtyard, surrounded by a few of my friends and twenty metres away from where Percy and Annabeth's crew sat.

"Hey, Harper," Elisa said, leaning forward as if we were conspiring. "I heard that Annabeth's parents are out of town, so she's staying at the Jackson household."

The girls at the table cooed. "That's adorable!" Beth squealed. "When are we going to see a Percabeth get together? I'm going to riot if it's not at school. I mean, sure, it's not the cutest place, but I have to be a witness!"

"I agree," I added, twirling my fork. "We've been watching these clueless bitches for, like, three years now."

My eyes drifted over to the said pair. Annabeth was laughing at something Leo Valdez was saying, and Percy looked exasperated as he argued with Piper McLean. Thalia and Jason Grace were backing up Piper's point, while Hazel and Frank seemed to be on Percy's side. And Grover was ignoring everyone while he scoffed his plate of lunch.

I could just make out what they were saying. "What? No," Percy said. "Annabeth, back me up here."

She turned around with a cute little grin on her face. Oh, the girl had it bad. "Sorry, Seaweed Brain." She shrugged. "Piper's right."

Percy threw his hands up. "Wise Girl, how about you live up to your name and realise that backing me up is the better option."

She smirked. "But Piper's right."

"But you're living at my place. And I could control the cookie supply. I could becoming the dealer of the Jackson household."

She mock gasped. "You wouldn't."

"You underestimate me." He grinned.

I couldn't quite hear her reply, but suddenly the were falling all over each other (convenient) laughing and giggling and just being so adorable I wanted to die.

This would be one of about twenty cute conversations I could add to my daily Percabeth blast. They really were made for each other.

The rush to get out of classrooms at the end of the day is a massacre. Pushing and shoving to make the earliest train or bus. Once, I saw Leo Valdez and Percy Jackson escaping the classroom through the window, shoving each other's asses to push through. It was pretty moronic, but kudos, since they made it out first.

Still, something was blocking the hallway worse than usually today. Since this practically screamed "GOSSIP" in all caps, I used my tall frame to shove through the crowds and find the drama centred at... Annabeth's locker.

I arrived at the front of the circle only to see, HOLY SHIT. Annabeth grabbed Percy and judo-flipped him onto the ground. Is this girl a ninja or what?

"What are they fighting over?" I asked Jerome Hayes, the school's resident scientific genius.

Eager to provide information to the school's gossip queen, Jerome replied enthusiastically. "Percy was bugging Annabeth about joining his side in an argument. She told him to stop, because he was wrong, which is why she called him Seaweed Brain. He kept bugging her so she just..." he mimicked a judo flip, eyes filled with awe. "She's so badass."

"Thanks, Rome," I said with a grin.

My grin only widened when Annabeth leaned down, her face millimetres from Percy's, oblivious to their gathered classmates. "Stop. Asking. Seaweed Brain."

Percy's lips were spread into a full blown smile, glowing with pride. "You're incredible."

She sat down next to him, poking his chest with her finger. "I like your change of tune, Seaweed Brain."

He sat up, looking at her with pride and awe and love. Oh my God, has he finally grown the balls to do it?

"Give me your opinion on this change of tune," he said. And then he kissed her, and I think my soul died and went to heaven, because after three years of constant yet unwitting flirting, Percy had kissed her, and she was kissing him back.

It was cute and all, but clearly the pair had no shame. Percy broke away from Annabeth, only to stand up and offer her his hand. She gratefully grabbed hold, the smile on her face radiant. Once again, ignoring everyone in the hall, a difficult feat considering the uproarious cheering, Percy pressed her against the lockers and kissed the living daylights out of the girl. She wound her arms around his back.

I could hear Leo Valdez in the crowd, screaming something along the lines of, "Finally you oblivious little shits!"

"Jackson! Chase!" Coach Hedge, the PE teacher, had obviously been tasked with investigating the yelling. Percy and Annabeth broke apart, but no one missed the not-so-subtle shift of Percy's hand, trailing down from her hair to entwine his hand with hers. "Go to the Principle's office, you two. The rest of you, clear out!"

I was well aware the Principle would give them no punishment, as was the pair of lovebirds, so there was no fear in their eyes as they made their way to the office. The crowd began to disperse, whispering giddily. I watched as Percabeth's friends surrounded them gleefully.

"I can't believe it was Percy who grew the balls before Annabeth!" Leo exclaimed.

"We've been waiting about five years for this," Thalia yelled. "Thank you, Percy. I don't have to hear 'we're just friends, I'm sure my liking him romantically will disappear eventually'. Honey, we all knew you were head over heels."

Percy smiled. "You had a thing for me?"

Annabeth rolled her eyes and raised an eyebrow. "If I didn't have a thing for you, I wouldn't have let you kiss me in the hallway, would I?"

Percy shrugged.

"You're a moron," she said, laughing. She still kissed him quickly anyway.

I sauntered past them to my locker with a grin. I waved cheerily. "Thanks guys, giving me a lot to write about."

Percy snorted. "No problem, Harper. That was my motivation all along."

"Thanks for that," I replied. "Oh, out of curiosity. When did you know you liked her? It'd really help with my post."

A hint of pink rose in Percy's cheeks. "Uh, I guess..." He looked at Annabeth, who was waiting expectantly. "My birthday, three years ago."

"Damn, Perce. Took you three years to grow a pair," I said, incredulous. "Oh well, it was a fun three years."

I called a goodbye, leaving them to their own devices. Besides, I had a blog post to write.

A/N: So, this was written very badly. But... I REALISED IT HAD BEEN ALMOST A YEAR SINCE MY LAST CHAPTER. That is insane! I had sort of just not prioritised it due to it being one shots. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed! This chapter is unedited as well. Usually I edit but I have no motivation.
