Chapter 2

JASMINE'S P.O.V.
"Wake up......wake up Jazz......Jazz wake up,"I heard someone say.

Then I felt a pillow hit my face and my eyes shot open. Above me was the one and only.....Shawn Mendes. He just stood there with an innocent smile and I glared at him.

"Sorry, now get up and get ready,"He said and I just rolled me eyes.

I got up and Shawn just laid down on my bed and went on his phone. I went in the bathroom brushed my teeth and hair and got dressed.

I went out and Shawn was still there on his phone. A grabbed a pillow and smacked him with it.

"What was that for?" He asked.

"You know what, it's for whacking me with a pillow to get me up,"I say and threw the pillow down and it landed on his face.

Then I felt something grab my arm. He pulled me back to him and I landed on the floor. Then he started tickling me.

"St...Stop.....STOP,"I say.

"Apologize,"he says.

"Wh...why?"I ask.

"Because you hit me with a pillow....twice,"He answers smirking.

I grab his wrists al he can stop tickling me.

"You're the one who woke me up by whacking me with a pillow, you started this,"I say.

"Oh well,"he answers and starts tickling me again.

"Apologize,"he says.

"I'm s...sor......SORRY,"I finally managed to say and he stops and gets up.

"Jerk,"I mumble under my breath.

"What was that?"He asks.

"Nothing,"I say and he walks out the room.

I get up and go downstairs and see Cam and Rhea. I go in the kitchen to get a water bottle and see Shawn eating a muffin. Why am I not surprised.

"Hey Jazz,"My mom and Dad say.
(Dad role goes to Channing Tatum)

"Hola," I say and grab a water bottle and glare at Shawn and he just smiles.

I walk out the kitchen and put my shoes on and grab my bag. Shawn comes out too and grabs his bag. We get in Cameron's car and wait for him to come out. 5 minutes later he comes out.

"What took you so long,"I say after he gets in the car.

"I was fixing my hair,"He says and starts the car.

"Yeah guys hair is important too,"
Shawn says defending him.

"Thank you Shawn," Cam says and gives Shawn a high-five.

"Whatever lets just get to school before we're late,"Rhea says and we leave the house.

We get to school and go to our lockers. Cam is a grade above me so he's in a different hall. Shawn and I go to our lockers which are 10 lockers away due to abc order. Rhea's is right next to me.

Shawn and I have first period together so we head to our class. Rhea's class is across from us. Shawn and I get to our seats which are right next to each other.

"Hola,"I hear someone say and I see Leah.

"Hey Leah,"Shawn and I say.

"I hear Catherine's in a bad mood today," Leah said.

Catherine is that girl at every school that tries to hard. Shawn is popular in our school so she tries to hit on him but it doesn't work. She hates me because I'm best friends with him.

"Why?"Shawn asks.

"Don't know but who cares,"Leah says and we all laugh.

Then the teacher comes in the room and class starts.

After class Shawn has to go to the bathroom, Leah left something and her locker, and Rhea doesn't have second period with me so I'm left alone.

"Well....well.....well, what do we have here,"I hear someone say and I already know who it is.

"What do you want Catherine?"I ask turning around even though I don't care.

"Nothing.....oh wait there is one thing,"she says.

"What?"I ask rolling my eyes.

"Go die,"she says with a straight face.

"Nah I'm good,"I say and turn around and start walking away.

"Don't walk away from me while I'm talking to you,"she said and grabs my shoulder.

I grab her hand and push it off with force and she looks mad. She looks like she's getting ready to slap me...and she is.

She swings her hand back and gets ready to slap me. I grab her arm when it's inches away from making contact with my face. She looks at me in disbelief but I ignore it and start walking away.

"Go die no one wants you here,"she says but I keep I walking.

Her words don't hurt me a lot. Shawn told me to just ignore her because she's just jealous and that's what I do. She always tells me to kill myself so I'm used to it. I walk in to class and see that I'm late.

"Ms. Dallas you're late, care to explain?"The teacher asks.

"Just went to the bathroom,"I lied.

Cameron had this same teacher so she expects me to be just like him. This was the only class he was good in basically.

I sat next to Shawn and he gave me a confused look. I shook my head to tell him to not worry about it.

SHAWN'S P.O.V.
I was walking to class after using the bathroom. I walked inside the room and saw that Jasmine wasn't there. Probably went to the bathroom too. A couple minutes later Leah came in the room.

"Where's Jazz?"she asks me.

"I don't know I just thought she went to the bathroom or something,"I answer.

"I hope Catherine isn't bothering her," She says and I agree with her.

Class starts and Jazz still isn't here. I'm starting to get worried about her. 5 minutes later Jasmine comes into class. The teacher asks her why she's late and she answers by saying she went to the bathroom.

I can tell she's lying. She comes and takes her seat next to me and I give her a confused look. She just shake her head. I hope Catherine didn't bother her, she can get a little too mean. I'm gonna ask her what happened at lunch.
