Chapter 8

JASMINE'S P.O.V.
"Alright it's 6:50 we should leave,"
Shawn says and we all get up and get in Cam's car.

I'm in the front and Leah and Rhea are in the back. We start driving and start singing to random songs on the radio

15 minutes later we arrived at Catherine's house. We got out the car and Walked up the driveway.

"Remember, don't drink anything....don't eat anything either,"
Shawn says.

"Do you know who you're talking to?"I ask him and point to me.

"Yeah a person who loves to eat everything,"Shawn smirks and I punch him in the arm.

"Was that supposed to hurt?"He asks.

"Yeah.....it was supposed to but obviously it didn't,"I say and Shawn burst out laughing and I frown.

"Can you at least pretend it hurt,"I ask and he shakes his head laughing.

I just push him aside and open the door. Rhea and Leah are behind me and Shawn soon joins.

"Shawn you made it!"Catherine says going up to him.

"Mhm,"He says and Rhea starts laughing out of the blue.

"What's so funny?"Catherine asks Rhea turning around.

"Oh nothing,"Rhea answers still smiling.

"Then why are you still smiling?"Cat says putting her hands on her hips.

"Because I can,"Rhea answered in a duh tone.

Catherine just walks away and bumps shoulders with Rhea. Rhea just shrugs.

"We've haven't even been her for 5 minutes and you're already causing trouble,"Leah says and Shawn laughs.

"I didn't care it got her away from me,"Shawn says.

"Anyways lets go look around,"Shawn says and we follow him.

As we look we look around we see people dancing, eating, or just talking. There are speakers literally everywhere in this house.

We get outside and see people in the pool. More people are outside than inside so it's more crowded. There's even a DJ.

"Wow....Catherine went all out,"Shawn said.

I almost trip and fall several times over everything on the ground and the ground is slippery. I have to hold on to Shawn's arms and he just laughs at me.

We decide to go back inside since it's so crowded outside....and because I keep tripping.

"Do your feet not work?"Leah asks me.

"You saw all the water on the ground and all the junk on the floor,"I glare at her and she smiles.

"Hey Shawn wanna play truth or dare with us?"Two of Catherine's friends come up to him.

"Yeah it'll be fun,"The other one says.

Shawn just looks at us and we shrug. Shawn's just gives in and goes in the living room with them.

Leah, Rhea, and I decide to just watch.

SHAWN'S P.O.V.
Two of Catherine's friends came up to me and asked to play truth and dare. I looked at the girls and they just shrugged. I just gave in and went with Catherine's friends.

I went in the living room and Catherine's friends put me on the couch next to her. She smiled at me and I faked a smile back.

"Ok so I'll go first, Truth or Dare Hillary?"Catherine asks her and it pretty much goes that way for 5 to 10 minutes.

"Ok Shawn truth or dare?"Cat asks me.

"Truth I guess,"I say not really caring.

"Who do you like?"She asks.

"No one,"I say simply.

"C'mon there's gotta be someone you like,"She says.

"I said I like no one and even if I did it wouldn't be you,"I say looking at her and she looks shocked.

"Ok,"She says and we finish the game.

Once the game is finished the girls are waiting outside the living room. They all give me a high-five for talking to Catherine like that.

"She deserved that,"Rhea said.

"Slay Mendes,"Jasmine says and I smile.

"So can we go now?"Leah asked.

"Yep,"I say and we all leave and go out to the car.

"How about we go to Starbucks,"Jazz says when we all get in the car and we all agree.

We drove to an all-night Starbucks and the closet one was 15 minutes away but who cares it's Starbucks.

Once we get back home it's about 9:00. It doesn't even feel like we've been gone that long. Shawn goes and drops Leah off with Cam's car and then comes back to return it. After that he's goes home and that's the end of the night
