Chapter 21

JASMINE'S P.O.V.
I've been looking at my phone for 2 straight hours....but that's normal for me. For the last two hours I've been looking through 5th grade photos and videos.

I've found 2 things that could be a reason for why she hated me so much. A, I won first place on a poem book that we did and it got displayed. B, Once I joined art class the teacher kind've liked me more than Catherine. Or C, the boy that Catherine liked, liked me.

I have a feeling it's C. Who else agrees? Anyways, I thought about telling Catherine about it, but I want to talk to her in person.

"Who's Catherine?"Mahogany asked.

"What?"I ask confused.

"You were talking out loud,"She says.

"Catherine's a girl in our school that thinks she's better than everyone else with her high heels and her expensive clothes,"Rhea buts in and then goes back on her phone.

"Yeah and she hates me a lot,"I say.

"Probable a stupid question, but why does she hate you?"Mahogany asks.

"Well at first I thought it was because I was best friends with Shawn. Shawn's popular in our school. But then she posted a video from 4th grade that I hate and then I figured that there was more to it. She told me to figure out why she really hated me and I think I did,"I explain and she nods.

"There's someone like that in every school,"Mahogany says.

"Yep well I'm going to Starbucks, you guys coming?"I ask and they both nod.

We walk to the Starbucks in the lobby in order. I love when there's a Starbucks in hotel lobby's because I don't have to go out in the world. Right after we order Cam texts me.

Cam- the boys and I are going out until MAGCON starts, stay safe

Jazz- ok

"Well the boys are gonna be gone until MAGCON starts, so what are we gonna do?"I say.

"I don't know but now let's drink Starbucks,"Rhea says.

"How about we go walk around Hawaii, but not going too far from the hotel," Mahogany suggests and we agree.

"We just have to be back by 12 because that's when MAGCON starts,"Rhea says and we leave.

We go to this big area called Waikiki and it's huge. We go into this mall called Alamoana and its big too.

"We need to show the boys this,"Rhea said and I agree.

It had all the stores like ever other mall would have. The only difference is size. We all got a couple shirts, jeans, and shorts.

After the shopping it was about 11:45 so we decided to leave so we're in time for MAGCON.

Once we get there we put our stuff in the hotel room then go back down to where MAGCON is held.

We go backstage and wait for everyone else to come in. They came in like 10 minutes later and it's now 11:55 so we have 5 minutes until the show starts. Shawn walks over to me and I don't know what to do.

"Look I'm sorry for being kinda mean yesterday,"He says.

"It's fine I know I'm annoying sometimes,"I laugh slightly.
