Chapter 19

JASMINE'S P.O.V.
Today's the first MAGCON and I'm excited. I got up and got dressed, brushed my hair down, and did all that other stuff. I walked out and see that Mahogany and Rhea are ready.

"I can't wait for MAGCON,"Rhea says smiling.

"Same here,"Mahogany says looking at her phone.

"Your gonna be at a booth with Matthew right Rhea?"I smile and she nods.

"Your gonna be at a booth with Shawn right Jazz?"Rhea mocks me and I smile and nod. Then there's a knock at the door and I open it and it's Bart.

"Mahogany you can go set up your DJ equipment now,"Bart says and she nods and he leaves.

"You guys wanna come with me?"She says about to leave and we nod.

We go into the lobby and walk to where MAGCON is going to be held. There was kinda a lot of room. It could probably fit about 500 people.

Mahogany starts to set her stuff up and I sit on the edge of the stage. Then I get a text.

Cameron- where are you guys?

Me- we're at the place MAGCON is going to be held

Cameron- ok just checking

"When does MAGCON start?"I ask.

"At ten and its about nine right now,"
Mahogany says.

"Rhea who are you texting?"I say looking over at her smiling at her phone.

"Im texting Matt,"She answered without looking up.

"You two should just date already,"
Mahogany says.

"And so should you and Shawn,"She says to me.

"No, we're best friends,"I say.

"Yeah but sometimes best friends become more than that,"She says.

"That's not gonna happen,"I say.

"Do you at least think he's cute?"Rhea asks butting in.

"We're talking about Shawn here why would I think that, and go back on your phone and stop butting in,"I say and she shrugs and goes back on her phone.

"At least answer the question, do you think he's cute?"She says.

"No I don't,"I say shaking my head.

"Well when it happens don't tell me I told you so,"She smiles and continues to set up her equipment.

It's now 9:30 and the boys are just walking in. Shawn comes and sits next to me on the stage. Shawn and I like to be by each other a lot. I guess it's since we've been hanging out ever since we were babies.

"So this is where we're performing?"
Carter asks and Cam nods.

"I thought it would be smaller,"He shrugs and talks to Taylor since Matt went over to Rhea.

"You know while we were upstairs, Matt wouldn't put his phone down for a second,"Shawn says quietly so no one would hear.

"So was Rhea and turns out she was texting him,"I say and look over at them smiling at each other.

"Those two need to date,"Shawn says and I agree.

"You guys should start going backstage, everyone's about to start coming in an a couple minutes,"Bart says and that's what we do.

"I'm going to announce your name on the microphone so start listening,"Bart says and walks onstage. Cam goes to peek outside and turns around and smiles.

"A lot of people same to see me,"Cam smirks.

"You mean us, right?"Nash asks looking at him.

"No I said it right,"Cam says.

"They came to see all of us Cam,"Hayes said and everyone else nodded and Taylor walks in with balloons.

"I found these and we should totally breathe in the helium,"Taylor smiles.

"I wanna do it, you should do it too Shawn,"Cam says grabbing a balloon and so does Shawn.

"Carter you should film this,"Matt said and Carter got his phone out.

"If you want it oooh,"Shawn sings with helium in his voice and Cam laughs.

"That would be a dope vine,"I heard Cam say. Carter looked at the camera while he was filming and shook his head.

"They're about to start,"Nash said and they waited to be called.

"CAMERON DALLAS, NASH GRIER, HAYES GRIER, SHAWN MENDES, MATTHEW ESPINOSA, CARTER REYNOLDS, TAYLOR CANIFF, AARON CARPENTER, AND YOUR DJ, MAHOGANY LOX,"I heard Bart say and let me tell you... I just lost my hearing.

They ran onstage as they were called. When everyone was onstage Cam grabbed a microphone.

"And I want 2 more people to join us...
my sisters Jasmine and Rhea,"Cam said in the mic and everyone cheered again.

Of course Rhea was fine with it but I wasn't. I don't like being on stages with a crowd because of my talent show.

Rhea started to walk on but I didn't move. She grabbed my hand and pulled me on stage. Shawn waved for me to go next to him and that's what I did without looking at the crowd once.

"Why am I on stage?"I whisper in his ear.

"Because we want you on,"He says back.

"Well I don't want to, I hate being on stages,"I say still not looking at the crowd.

"You'll be fine it's only about 500 people,"He shrugs and I give him an "are you crazy" look.

"That's too many,"I say.

"You'll be fine it's only for like an hour our two. Just stay with me the whole time and you'll be fine,"He smiles at me and I glare at him which makes him laugh.

The boys do all these things and someone brought a small trampoline onstage. The boys start jumping on it but then they dare Cameron to do a flip.

"Everybody say Cameron's scared,"
Taylor says and that's what everyone does.

"Get out the way I'll do it,"Taylor says and does a weird flip.

"Just because you did it doesn't mean I want to,"Cam says.

"Just do it,"Nash said and everyone agrees.

Cam goes on the trampoline and keeps stalling.

"If your not gonna do it, you can get off the trampoline,"Aaron says.

"I'll do it just give me some time,"Cam says.

About 2 minutes later, Cam does a front flip off the trampoline and ends it lie he's doing the whip. The boys go to surround him and congratulate him for it.
