Quiya smiled lightly before placing a hand on Kila's shoulder to ease her bouncing, he knew she was excited - but they had to make sure she didn't give away what was going on, by accidentally levitating things because she was allowing her emotions to control the force that flowed through her veins, her bouncing stopped after a couple of seconds, remembering what he had said about how her gift was more emotion based than any other person he had seen, and they would always have to work on controlling her emotions to make sure she didn't hurt herself or anyone around her, the technique was to take a couple of breaths and find her calm, relaxing, peaceful place and go there until her emotions had died down to something calm and relaxing. And since she was so young, since she did it so often, she was able to calm herself, almost eliminate all emotions that threatened to bubble to the top.

She calmed herself enough so they wouldn't show, though they were still there and it was shining in her eyes as she watched the ships break through the atmosphere, the roaring of the engines as they slowly lowered to the burning sands to the desert, the symbol on the side, dear God... the symbol she had memorized, the one she wore with pride, the one that meant what she had sworn her life to... it was plastered on the side for all to see. Right on the side, the Jedi! The New Republic! They freed the slaves, rescued people from oppression so they could have their own free will, how Kila had always dreamed of helping people like this, because the thought of other being in what she had been in, though it being worse, it made her sick to her stomach and she would love nothing more than to make sure they got the freedom that they deserved, because most people who were enslaved, didn't deserve to be there. She knew that much.

Quiya removed his hand from the girl's shoulder before strolling over to one of the four ships, watching as the ramp lowered and various soldiers of the republic walked out, followed by a woman whom had a long, dark robes, dark orange skin with white markings on her face, and she had these things... on her head, two long ones hung down on the sides of her neck. She also had two shorter ones that stuck up on top and a third one that hung down her back, she had wrinkles on her face her green eyes looking rather old and tired, but that didn't stop the smile on her face when she saw Quiya, which made Kila narrow her eyes in suspicion, simply wondering who they were to each other. But being an apprentice, a padawan, she just silently followed after the man, stood behind him and waited for them to talk, whether it be to her, someone else or each other.

"Quiya, my old friend." She said, stepping over to him and putting her arms around his shoulders in a friendly, as well as gentle, hug. And he put his arms around her midsection, almost as if he was wary of breaking her if he hugged her too hard, which Kila couldn't help herself. She had to duck her head to hide the smile on her face at how they acted around each other, she was sure you didn't have to be force sensitive to know what had happened between them a long time ago, she could sense the fondness, the connection and the very subtle hints of protection and love, but the young girl didn't know much, she didn't know their age, she didn't know their background, she knew they had love. Once in the past, though he taught that love was not acceptable in the Jedi, which perhaps is why... they didn't have love.

Of course, she didn't know what they had, she could only assume. They must've known each other when they were younger, perhaps her age or a few years older when they fell in love, and they loved each other for a very long time before being discovered and it was forbade, maybe they were told to stop loving each other, or... showing their love... or else they would be kicked from the Jedi. In which, Kila thought that was ridiculous. Maybe it was how you kept yourself and them safe, by not loving them so the bad guys couldn't hurt them, if you didn't feel emotion for them. She figured that is how the enemy worked, if you care for someone - they hurt them, if you didn't - then they leave them alone.

This young girl wouldn't know because she's never been around enemy that wanted to hurt her family, only because the enemy was her family, and she couldn't help but care for them since they cared for her, well, they only did what was necessary. There was no love from Prevrence, but Mika, she tried to act like a mother to Kila, though the mercenary would often prevent it because Kila had been a mere slave to him... not an actual human being who needed love an attention, he thought that all she had ever needed clothing, food, water, a place to sleep, a bathroom and orders to follow. He didn't know how humans worked because she was extremely sure he wasn't a human, metaphorically...

She was glad to be rid of him, of course, who wouldn't?

"Kila, Kila, honey..." Quiya's voice had managed to pull her from her thoughts, in which, she was half focusing on that and him, until he touched her shoulder to gain her attention fully, "This is Ashora, she is an old friend of mine." He said, then holding his hand out to the orange female, whom had white patterns on her face and on her long things that hung down on her shoulders, she smiled and held her hand down to Kila, in which the young girl eagerly accepted it and gave a gentle shake, though had a firm grip.

"Kila, as you've heard, I'm sure." She said, a slight blush of embarrassment cross her features, but all Ashora did was chuckle lightly and nod, "I've heard a lot about you, young Kila." A smile filled the girl's features, already starting to like this woman, she was kind, as far as she could tell, she had a polite face and of course, she was Quiya's friend. Or... you know, from what she had seen.

"We're going to bring you to a Republic friendly planet after we have captured the people who claim you to be your slave." She explained to the girl, looking around at the village as the soldiers were moving around and explaining the situation to everyone, "But not Mika." The young girl said quickly, her mind flashing to the woman who actually tried to be a mother to her, she wasn't as harsh as she could be, since she too was a slave. Having free reign of what she wanted to do, but she couldn't leave and when Prevrence wanted something, he wanted it and he had taught her better than that, but... Kila didn't want Mika to seen as a slave owner when she was one herself, Kila owned her that much - possibly even more, but this was all the girl could do at the time.

Quiya's eyes narrowed just slightly before he sighed gently and shrugged, it was her decision. Because it concerned those whom she knew, he didn't necessarily know who they were and what they did to her, he only knew what she had told him and it wasn't much since they both had been focusing on her powers, how properly use them and his to control them so she wouldn't hurt herself or anyone around her.

He had to say, she was very good at controlling herself, she was beyond mature for her age and... he was just blessed to have met this young girl, to have trained her in the ways that he could, but she needed more training, with better equipment to teach her techniques with a lightsaber. All they could use was training staffs he had brought with him.

"Very well." Ashora said with a slight dip of her head, she looked to Quiya before she patted his shoulder and then strolled over to the troops to start ordering them to find slaves and slave owners, to free the slaves and make sure they refrained from using their weapons unless it was absolutely necessary. Kila knew what absolutely necessary was, and it was more than likely going to be Prevrence, which is why she ran from Quiya and over to Ashora, "Wait! If you go to my house, fifty clicks that way," she pointed in the direction in which she had lived - once she had gotten the female's attention, "Prevrence, he's a mercenary and... I know he won't go down without a fight, and he's dangerous, so... please be careful." The only thing she wanted, was to make sure that the soldiers didn't get hurt because of someone she was more dangerous than was let on.

"Thank you, you may have just saved a life." Ashora said after a second of silence, a soft smile on her features as she placed her hand on the girl to thank her for what she had done.

Kila allowed a soft smile to come from her lips as she gave as light nod, if she was saving lives... She couldn't wait to do it even more, in which, she was sure that is what she would be doing.
