Tyler
Tyler woke up in a better mood than he usually would have. After recently finding out the new cute guy at his school is bi.
I might actually have a chance.
His chest felt tight, not in a "I'm panicking and cannot breathe." Type of tight, more like a "I am fangirling and cannot contain myself." Type of tight.
Then again maybe you aren't his type, or what if he prefers girls?
Tyler tried to push those thoughts out of his head and got up to get ready for school. He padded acrossed his floor and put on a maroon T-shirt and a different pair of black jeans. He glanced in the mirror and ran downstairs to eat breakfast and brush his teeth. As he ran through the front room he noticed his younger brother sitting on the couch. He stopped and questioned him. "Hey Zach, why aren't you at school?"
Zach looked up at him and looked back down. "I don't feel good today."
Tyler didn't go against it. "Why don't you go back to your room and I'll make you some breakfast and call in to your school."
"That would be great, thanks Ty." And with that he walked upstairs and went to his room. Tyler picked the house phone up and called the school.
"Hello, yes this is Zach Joesph's father I was calling to tell you he won't be coming into school today, he's running a pretty high fever and needs some rest." The lady on the other side of the line replied:
"Tyler Joesph I know this is you, your dad wouldn't be home at this time, he'd be at work." Tyler felt his cheeks spread red.
"Okay thats true ma'm but Zach really is running a fever and I don't want him over working himself." Tyler heard a sigh come from the phone.
"I'll let it pass this time but you better hope your mom and dad will be okay with it."
"Yes ma'm."
"Alright goodbye."
"Bye" Tyler picked up his own phone and texted Josh.
Tyler: I won't be coming into school today my brother is sick.
Josh: Oh okay, want me to come over and keep you company?
Tyler: don't you have to go to school?
Josh: nah there wont be anything interesting I'll just tell my mom I don't feel like it.
Tyler: okay, you know where my house is?
Josh: yeah Ill be over in ten
Tyler: Okay see you then
Tyler opened up the refridgerator and pulled out some eggs, chocolate syrup, milk, and oranges
This should do, I'll make something for Joshy boy too.
He set the contents he just pulled out down and also grabbed some bacon and cheese. As he was about to start mixing the seasoning, eggs and milk, he heard a tap at his front door. Tyler walked over to the door and opened it up to a panting, smiling Joshua Dun.
Wonder if thats what it would sound like if I was fucking you.
Tyler realized what he just thought and almost laughed aloud.
Wow control your thoughts Ty.
"So whats cookin?" A very sweaty Josh asked, peering past Tylers shoulder.
"Oh, uh, scrambled eggs deluxe with bacon and cheese. Uh c-come on in." Tyler was blushing feriously and couldn't contain himself so he turned towards the stove and focused on the bacon shrinking in the pan.
"Uh is it okay if I sit here?" Tyler looked back at Josh and realized he forgot to tell Josh to sit down.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry, uh, you can sit there if you want." Tyler spun back around to the bacon and flipped it.
Joshua Dun is in your kitchen and is about to eat your food.
Tyler smiled at the thought of this being a laid-back date.
Quit fussing over him, you have a sick brother to take care of.
Tyler took the bacon out of the pan and put it in his warming oven, then threw the scrambled eggs, mushrooms, preppers, garlic and onion in, cooking them to Dun* perfection. He split the eggs evenly into three parts and made each of the boys plates. He handed Josh's plate to him elegantely, then informed him he would be taking a plate to his brothers room. When Tyler got back, he checked his phone to see if he had any messages and saw that Brendon had messaged him.
Brendon: I see that you and Josh arent at school today ;))))))
Tyler: Shut up omg my brother was sick so I decided to stay home and Josh said he'd keep me company
Brendon: suuuree "keep you company"
Tyler: :'^)
Brendon: Good luck we will miss ya
Tyler: bye
Tyler looked up at Josh and smiled.
"So what do you have in mind for today?" He asked, hoping Josh had some ideas.
"Do you have any video games?"
I can't play video games for shit.
"Uh yeah, upstairs in my room."
"We could play some video games together bro." Josh smiled wide before taking another bite of his eggs.
Should I tell him I absolutely suck at video games? Or try my best and possibly get embarassed.
"U-uh J-Josh?" The red haired boy looked up from his plate.
"Yeah?"
"I- I'm a noob."
Josh looked at Tyler for a moment before bursting into laughter.
"Whats so funny?" Tyler felt his cheeks start to glow red.
"S-sorry its just, I've never heard anyone openly say that they're a noob!" Josh tried to get the sentence out past his laughing fit.
"Well, its true! I couldn't win a match to save my life. In real life, or on the game!"
Josh smiled up at Tyler and Tyler couldn't help but stare at his beautiful lips.
"I guess we should get to practicing then."
