32. The best hacker

The lights go out in the tower. You grab your gun and go out of your room, into the hallway. The others come out as well. You hear the elevator start running. And you hear Tony starts to swear over his failing security system. You lower your gun. You know exactly who it is. You signal to the others to lower their weapons as well. The elevator opens and out comes a familiar figure.

"JUAN!!!!" You say as you run towards him and lift him up in an bone crushing hug. "Queen, would you please let me breathe for a second?" You put him down and ruffle his hair.

"Guys, this is Juan, he's the best hacker on earth." You say and the others nod and they mumble stuff.

You hear a door opening and out comes Deadpool. He runs towards Juan and lifts him up, like he's a little toddler. Juan is tall, but Wade is a giant compared to him. "Wade, could you fucking not?" "But, we're together now, Juanpool, forever and always." Wade says as he puts Juan down.

"Aaaaw! I ship it." You hear behind you. You see Ashley and Leslie smile behind you. "What does that even mean?" "We approve on a relationship." Ashley says. "Finally, someone who understands me!" Wade yells and goes to high five the girls.

"So Juan, why the dramatic entrance?" Tony asks. "Why the hell not?" Juan says with a smirk. "Language" you and Steve say at the same time. Bucky starts laughing over the whole situation.

"So, Juan. Are you joining the fight, or are you staying behind here and hack?" "Y/N, I'm coming, I'll be in one of the tanks, I don't know anything about fighting, well I know how to fight. I just don't want to do anything, and the last time I joined you in a fight, you almost got me killed!" "Almost." You smirk.

"Wow, this is a big-ass meeting room." Wade says as he enters the meeting room. Everyone takes a seat.

"Tomorrow night, we fly out, the trip will be 6 hours, so rest if you need to. Avengers, we're taking the Quinjet, the rest will be in the airplane with the weapons. We will land on an airstrip 10 kilometers from the HYDRA base, from there the tanks go in first. Juan will hack his way through their systems and create a diversion, so there's less guards outside. When they arrive. We need team A and B to get as many guard as possible outside. This way it's easier for team C to..." Steve stops as he see a tall woman enter the meeting room.

"Sorry I'm late, Logan called me last minute." She says.
You look to Logan. "Y/N, this is Mariam, she's here to help." He says. You walk across the room and shake her hand. "So, Mariam. What's your specialty?" "I can make force fields." "Well, welcome to the team, I know Logan doesn't normally bring people in on stuff like this, unless that person is very powerful." "Oh, thank you."

You turn to Steve and give him the cue to continue.

"Yes, uhm. This way, it will be easier for team C to get inside and find 'the devil' and Y/N will explain that to you" Steve says and you walk up beside him.

"The Devil, isn't just a nickname. The man isn't the problem. It's the dark spirit that controls him. You need to stay as far away from him as possible, or he will make your demons... Worse. This will cause a mental breakdown. And it might be permanent. I have experienced this several times. And luckily, thanks to the serum, I managed to get out, with the help of Loki, but normal minds don't deal with it too well, so be cautious." You look to everyone in the room and they nod back at you. "So, is there any questions? Or are we all ready to get some well deserved rest?" Steve asks. No one says a thing.

Later
You're walking towards the HYDRA base alone. You walk for a while when the First Mother appears. "Y/N, I have to tell you something." "What? Is it something wrong?" "No, it's more a good thing. You know how you loose the powers when you drop the scepter?" "Yes, I kinda wanted to ask yo..." "When you're close to the devil, the scepter will only give you the power, and if you drop it, you won't change back, not until you have killed the dark spirit." "So, when he's gone, my role as 'The Goddess of Revenge' is over?" "I'm afraid so, but you will have saved the future from chaos." "Wait, so this isn't just a vengeance thing, it's actually a 'save the world' thing?" "Yes." "I don't think I'm ready, I'm really terrified." "The power of the goddess will give you courage." "Thank you." "Remember; Love conquers all."

You wake up. You're full of sweat, and out of breath. You try to go back to sleep, but there's no luck. You decide to take a shower.

After the shower you go to the living room and look out the window.

You look out on the city till sunrise. You jump when you feel a hand on your shoulder. You turn to see Steve with an amused look.

"Finally got you." "I was mentally asleep, what time is it?" "It's 6 in the morning, why?" "I've been looking out the window for 3 hours." You say and kiss him. He pulls you closer and run his fingers through your hair.

He lifts you up bridal style. "Where are you taking me?" "To bed, you need some rest." "I'll join you in bed Soldier, but it would not be sleeping." You whisper in his ear and kiss him on the neck. His eyes are darkened with lust and you enter his bedroom.
