(A/N- so this is gonna lighten the mood for everyone, I suggest you actually listen to "Star spangled man". This is kinda a filler chapter to lighten the mood. And kinda like a musical, so enjoy my sudden urge to make a weird musical.) ___________________ "Well, Captain. You sure know how to show a girl a good time." You say with a grin. "Oh, is that so? How about we..." Steve gets cut off by Tony entering the room. You're quick to cover you up with the duvet.
"Oh, uhm, sorry for interrupting... Thor and Loki wanted everyone to come to breakfast, something about bringing luck for a 'glorious battle' and something about Gods and stuff, I'll give you a minute." Tony says with a smirk and close the door.
"Sorry Captain, duty calls!" As you roll off his bed and walk to his dresser. You steal a pair of black shorts and a blue t-shirt with a white star. You go and pick up his shield and jump on the bed.
"Who's strong and brave, here to save the American Way?" You sing. "Ok give it back." He begs and jumps on the bed with you.
"Who vows to fight like a man for what's right night and day?" You sing and jump down from the bed. He just rolls his eyes.
"Who will campaign door-to-door for America?" You sing as you run out from his room and into the hall way.
"Carry the flag shore to shore for America." You sing as you enter the kitchen with everyone sitting around the dining table, with amused look. Bucky chuckles.
"From Hoboken to Spokane." You sing as you put your foot on Bucky's lap and jump up on the table.
"The Star Spangled Man with a Plan" you sing with your hands in the air making jazz-hands. Everyone is amused except for Steve.
Let's change that annoyed look. I was thinking the same thing Eagle.
You walk over to the other side of the table and pull Elena and Chris up. You nod to Loki and with a snap off his fingers and Elena and Chris are wearing the outfits the ladies used to wear during Steve's 'tour', back during the war. You smirk at Steve and he rolls his eyes.
"We can't ignore there's a threat and a war we must win" you sing.
"Who'll hang a noose on the goose-stepping goons from Berlin?" You sing and you jump down from the table and Elena and Chris follows your lead. And you walk to stand in the middle of the living room. Everyone is looking at you.
"Who will redeem, head the call for America, Who'll rise or fall, give his all for America, Who's here to prove that we can?" You sing and start to point at Steve.
"The Star Spangled Man with a Plan!" You look at Loki and he turns your clothes back to normal.
"So, Captain. Should we start that tour or what?" You ask him with the biggest grin on your face. "No, I simply don't have the time." You sigh over dramatically, which makes everyone laugh.
Thor stands up. "Y/N, from when I first met you as the Goddess of Revenge, I have admired your strength. The power of the goddess you possess is only given to those who are pure, good and fearless in battle. And it showed that you were indeed worthy of Mjölnir, I was certain. You are simply the strongest in this very realm. I am honored to go into battle with you." He says and gives you smile, you can't help but blush over his compliment.
Thor raises his glass of chocolate milk. "To Y/N, the Goddess of Revenge, a fearless warrior, may we win this battle. So the victory over this war, can be hers! Let's go to war!" He says and everyone lift their glasses and drink.
Eagle. Did Thor just make a battle-toast, with a glass of chocolate milk? Yep, I am officially, out of sassy comments. Still, chocolate milk?
The rest of the day you spend catching up with your friends. Chris admits on having a huge crush on Bucky and Elena tells you something about a woman named Jessica Jones(and she sounds like your kind of person).
Juan is too busy talking to Tony and Bruce about computers, Kate is busy arguing with Gilroy about what's the best;England or Ireland(and it's never gonna end any time soon).
So you find Mariam sitting alone on the couch. You decide to go talk to her, if Logan thinks of her as a friend, you'll have an easy time befriending her.
"Hey, Mariam, what's up?" "Nothing, I'm just bored, Wade and Logan decided to make a bet or something." "Well, ain't that typical." You say while sit down beside her, and she laughs at your comment.
"So, what's your story, Mariam?" "I'm afraid it's really boring and short." "Well if it's short you can tell me." "Well my oldest sister had powers, and my parents sent her to the mutant school. They wasn't sure if me and my other sister were mutants so they waited. And one day, some boys at my school decided to pick on me, they started throwing rocks at me, and I put my hands up to stop it, and suddenly the rocks stopped in front of me. And after that I was sent to the school and Logan took me under his wing." "Wow, that's really cool, can you return the stuff your shield stops?" "Yep, I think that's why I'm here, if they shoot at me, I can shoot at them." "Well, Mariam. I'm very impressed, and I haven't even seen you in action yet!" "Thanks, and you're really awesome!" "I know I am!" You give her a hug and walk to your room.
You figured you can take a nap before this whole war thing. And as soon as your head meets the pillow you're drawn into a welcoming sleep.
(A/N-so... It might take me a time to upload the next few chapters, since I need to make a plan for stuff that's going to happen in the battle. And most importantly, which POV's I'm going to use. Anyways, thanks for reading fam!)
