Secert of the Night

Chapter 6/Stoick finds Hiccup's village

Stoick

I couldn't stand of not doing anything. It can't happen again. First I lost Valka, then Hiccup, now Astrid? I went to my own dragon, I named Skullcusher, who is a Rumblehorn and can smell it's enemy's scent from far away. "Skullcusher, let's go." I said. The Rumblehorn roars in agreement and we flew off from Berk.

Astrid

I looked around of Hiccup's village. I had to admit, him as a Chief, was not something I wouldn't suspect. As I was thinking, I saw Thrya. "Hey." I greeted the young Viking. She notices me and grinned, "Hey, Astrid, what's up?" I said, "Well, this is kinda weird that you're Hiccup's daughter." She shrugs, "Well, it's kinda hard to live up to the Hero of Berk." I was surprised. "Wait, he didn't tell the villagers that he was from Berk and you knew about it?" "Because he trusts me. I'm kinda in training to be the next Chief of the Village." I smiled. Hiccup is like Stoick, in his own way, but something tells me that he is hiding something. I know that I have to find out what type of secret he is hiding. As I was thinking, a villager cries, "Dragon Rider approaching!" I was confused. Dragon Rider, coming to Hiccup's secret village? That's when I saw my answer it was Stoick and Skullcrusher! Thyra said in total shock, "What in the name of Thor is that?" I bit my lip. This is not the way I thought this day would be anything worse.

Hiccup

I run through the village and I saw Astrid and Thrya. I ran up to them and asked, "What is going on?" Astrid said, "Uh, Hic? You might want to see this." I did as instructed and I saw my own father with Skullcrusher! Toothless came by and said, "Oh, please don't tell me it's Stoick."  I said, "Yep."  Dad landed and rushes towards Astrid and gave her a bear hug. Astrid said, struggling to breath, "Uh, Stoick! Can't breathe!" He suddenly realized what he was doing and lets go of her. "Sorry, Astrid. I was worried about you when that Night Fury took you." Astrid said, "Stoick, I'm fine, really." I coughed, trying to get their attention. Stoick looks at me as if I was a stranger. I tried not to laugh as he asks, "Who are you?" Astrid said, "Wow, Stoick, you really don't recognize him at all, don't you?" He asks her, "Should I?" I knew that Astrid was trying to get him to realize it was me. I rolled my eyes at the Chief and looked at the people. "It's all right, he's just a friend." The Villagers were admired of Skullcrusher and went to pet him. I pushed Thrya and said, "Will you and Lilith make sure that Berk is safe?" She was excited and said, "Like my first mission?" I nodded, and said, "Remember, don't tell them about the village or who you are." "Dad, I'm twenty. I can handle myself and the mission. I'll be back by sundown." She climbs onto Lilith's saddle and flew. I sighed then I noticed Dad. He must've seen and heard everything I had told Thyra. "Is it true that you're from Berk?" He asks. I nodded, "Yes. I am from Berk. I thought you knew that... Dad." He was shaking with fear as I reveal the last detail. "What did you call me?" I sigh, knowing that there is no turning back. "Dad, it's me, your son, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third." He was shocked at me, and then Astrid came in. She said, "Oh. You just reveal who you are, huh?" I nodded. "This is very arkward." She said. I couldn't agree more.
