Chapter 10/Heather meets Edna

Heather

I was hiding in the shadows, not far from Berk. I been watching over them for five years with my dragon, I named, "Firewind", a Razorwhip. She was growling at something and I grabbed my axe, and I saw a familiar dragon coming in. It was Toothless! I lowered my axe and then greeted the Night Fury. "Hi." I said. He smiles then I noticed his Rider. It was Hic! "Hiccup?" I asked, "W-What you doing here? I thought that you-" He said, "We need to talk." I noticed a blond-haired girl behind him and he said, "That's Astrid, she's my f-friend." I smirked because I can tell that he likes her.

Hiccup

I stuttered, again! Geez, why does that always happen to me every time I introduce someone to Astrid? As I was about to tell her about Edna, I noticed Thrya. "Thrya, over here!" She notices me and she and Lilith came over. "Dad! Um, I didn't tell anyone about the village, I promise-" Heather said, "Village? Is that where you live, Hiccup?" I sighed, because there is no escape from Heather. I said, "Yes. There is a secret village and I am the Chief of the village." Heather was in total shock and said, "What?!? Why you didn't tell me that before?" Thyra and Astrid laughed of her outburst. Astrid said, "Believe me, when I found out about him being the Chief of the Strike Clan, I was surprised, yet amazed of what become of him."  I was kinda amazed of Astrid's words. She never said something like that before. I cleared my throat and said, "Well, I think we should head to the village before any of the other Riders spotted us." We left and I saw the only person I wanted to see. Edna. She saw me and said, "Hiccup! Oh, thank Thor that you are ok! I was starting to worry, and why you are looking at me like that?" I said, "Ed, there's someone I want you to meet. This is Heather, she's your younger sister." She was staring at me for a moment then said, "What?" 

Edna

What? I thought back when I was still in Outcast Isle, when my dad abused me. "This is what you get for not protecting your siblings." Dagur cries, "Dad, don't!" but it was too late when he hits me with the Gronkle Iron. Hiccup said, "Ed? Edna, you ok?" I shook myself, "Sorry, just having a painful memory of my past." He understood and said, "It's all right, Edna. That was five years ago, you're safe here." "I know, Hic, it's just remembering it was painful." Heather asks, "What did Dad do to you?" I replied, "I really don't want to talk about it... Sis." "Oh." She replies. Stoick said, "Son, we need a plan to defend Berk. Do you have any ideas?" Hic said, "Well, I do, but in order for it to work, I need to change." Stoick was confused, so was Heather, but Astrid, Thrya and I knew the truth. Thrya said, "Oh, no. You are not thinking of what I think you're going to do are you?" Hic said, "I have no choice! This is Berk, we're talking about here. Besides, Dagur and I have some unfinished business." Astrid said, "I hope that you wouldn't be that stupid." Hic laughs at the comment. "Did that ever stop me, Milady?" She laughs, "I guess not."
