It is cold outside. The wind is blowing and trees are falling all around. No, you did not misread that. Not leaves. Trees. Literal trees are falling all around Bootanya. This may be the only reason she woke up. She was lying in the forest with no recollection of who she was or how she got there. She had nothing except a chain around her neck that said 'Bootanya'. All she knew was that she was cold, hungry, and needed a new sew-in. Although she didn't know what she was going to do or where she was going to go, she did know that she had to get out of that forest. Because trees were falling. And that'd be a sad and painful way to go.
