I was hoping Bootanya wouldn't ask how we are related. I know that if I tell her then she will hate me. She'll runaway and resent me for the rest of her life. But I know she'll hate me even more if she doesn't know the truth.

"Listen Bootanya. This is going to be a lot to take in at one time, but I have to be honest with you. When I was a young girl my mother abandoned me on the side of the road. She told me she'd include me in her will, but that is all. She told me she never wanted to see me again because I was a dumb, lanky, freak with too many dental problems. I was young, cold, and lonely. I couldn't take it! So when I turned 9, I artificially inseminated myself and got pregnant...with you. I gave birth to you on the side of the road. I had a c-section by myself. I was the little engine that could. I loved you very much but I simply could not care for you at that age. I was young and inexperienced. So I gave you a necklace that said 'Bootanya' and left you at the doorstep of an orphanage. You lived there your whole life. Then one day you went for a stroll in the forest and, as if it were fate, I was going for a stroll too. I wasn't sure it was you at first, but once I saw that necklace I knew I had to have you back. So I followed you and knocked you out with the head of an axe. I put a couple of dollars in your pocket and watched you wake up 3 days later. I followed you to the convenient store and pretended to be a friendly stranger. I know we don't look alike considering my pale, pasty skin and your dark complexion are just too different, but we are actually the same race; you just came out with more melanin. I didn't want you to find out this way. I was going to tell you, I swear!"

Bootanya could not believe what she was hearing. It didn't seem real. She had found her mother! Actually...her mother had found her...because she's a stalker! Bootanya knew that although she was happy to finally have a family, this wasn't what she needed. She wasn't safe with a stalker and had to go. So she left.
