Chapter 29 Our New Family

"Pàpa, come on let's go to the park." Anna says.

"Meiko are you coming with us?" Mike asked.

"Yeah I'm coming."

We all drive to the park Meito was sitting in the far back. Anna and Kara were next to each other in the middle. Meito was 10 and in 6th grade due to the fact he excelled in his studies. He was a year ahead compared to kids his age. Also, he's taking guitar.

Well Sakine tries her best to visit us during the summertime. She's already married to Möiük and may be planning on having a child. Lucania told me that she's going to have fraternal twins. She's going to have a girl and boy. She's naming her son Hugo and her daughter Luka.

We finally made it to the park and my friend Lucania was there. Mike helped me unbuckle Anna and Kara. Meito unbuckled his seatbelt and met up with Luke who was waiting for him. The two always acted like cousins. Meito told me how people would think that they were related since they acted so close.

"So I heard that Rillianna and Allen got married. Did you go?" Gäpöuk says.

"I did and it was so good that it was separate. It was a bad idea to have it on that day but at least the two are happy." Lucania says.

"They live in the same subdivision. At least they didn't separate. Sakine and Möiük are living in North Carolina at the outer banks. Sakine always did love the beach."

"It didn't surprise me that Allen and Rillianna live within walking distance from each other. I don't know how I should feel if Luke starts to date one of your daughters." Lucania tells me.

"If he does I would be okay with it but we'll still just be friends rather than sisters."

We watch our kids play together as they were using some of the equipment. After a while they came back since they were all hungry so we decided to leave the park. We ate at some Italian restaurant. It was summertime so we knew that we should get some gelato afterward.

The kids where sitting together. Lucania was sitting across from me we ordered some sodas. It was hot but our server got us extra bread. I ordered a salad and ice cold dressing to soothe my parched throat. However, I'm getting pasta with shrimp and slices of freshly made parmesan. We received our orders and started to eat. The dressing cooled down my throat with the help of the ice water.

"Well Meiko this was a good restaurant." Lucania tells me.

"To be fair Mike was the one that recommended this one." I tell her.

"Was this the one I took you to or was it the one that made you a famous restaurant connoisseur?" Mike asked me.

"I think it was the one that got me famous."

"Right, the one I took you to, I knew the owner." Mike says.

"Well at least Mike knows all the good Italian restaurants." Gäpöuk says.

"Yeah he actually grew up in Italy."

"So that explains his accent. I knew he didn't sound American. Remember that time when those two fraternity boys got scared when you said that Mike was your husband." Lucania says.

"Yeah and they thought we were both mob wives."

"My accent just stuck with me. I never lost it." Mike comments.

We have all finally finished but were all stuffed from the food and bread. We then split up and went home, Meito was going to hang out with Luke. The two known each since they were in diapers although they weren't related.

"Anna are you enjoying your summer so far?"

"Ee." she says.

Anna prefers to speak in Japanese however Kara does not really care. All she cares about is Anna. The two ended up in the same class but they studied at the normal pace, but their older siblings were always a grader higher for their age.
