Jash

I was currently laying on my bed in my room. Today was our date. In about 6 hours, I have to go get Mary.

Yes, she is at her house, Travis and the girls are there. I was nervous, the reason why was because this was going to be my second date I've ever had. Well, my first actually.

Let's say, I stopped going on dates after an incident that happened in 7th grade.

I stood at her door, wearing my flannel and my light jeans. I made sure my hair was gelled back, my shoes looked cleaned.

I took a deep breath in.

"Well, here goes nothing." I rang her doorbell.

A little girl opened the door. It was probably her little sister.

"Yes?" she asked.

"I-I'm looking for Anastasia."

"Ana isn't here." She replied.

What? But this is the right house? The exact time, the exact day? How is she not here??

"Umm, well do you know where she is?"

The little girl put her index finger on her chin and looked up to the sky.

"Uhh, I tink she went out with a friend? I don't know, I'm sowwy." I widened my eyes.

"Well thank you little girl."

She smiled and closed the door. I was mad. Where did Anastasia go? I told her that I would be here.

I decided just to go home. As I was walking home, I passed by a food court. Since I still have my money, I'll just get something to eat for myself.

As I was getting my food, I heard a familiar laugh.

"You're so funny Ryan." I widened my eyes again. I turned around and got really mad.

Anastasia, and Ryan were walking together, holding hands. I walked up to them both.

"Ana! What are you doing here!?"

"What does it look like Jash? I'm on a date."

"You're supposed to be with me!! Not this piece of trash!!"

"Well you see, Ryan here is better than you. He is way funnier at least." She smirked and held his hand.

I was beyond mad. The son of my dad's enemy, took my date, took my girl, he...he...

"Can't you see it Jash? You're not as great as me. You never were, and you never will be." Ryan laughed. I clenched my fists. I punched Ryan in the face.

He fell to the ground, I scoffed.

"You were always the weak one Ryan. I will always be stronger than you." I walked away and back home.

As I got home, my mom, sister, and dad were home, outside.

"Jash Michaelis Adams, where were you? You said you were at school, but we call and hear that you're not even at school??" My mom questioned.

"I don't fucking want to talk about it mom! Gosh! You're so fucking nosey sometimes!!" I stormed inside leaving my shocked mother and sister behind.
