Jash's POV:

"Would you go on a date with me?" Mary widened her eyes and looked at me.

"What?" She asked. Really Mary, don't let me explain why.

"Would you...you know...go on a date with me?" Mary stopped for a moment, looked like she was thinking.

"Yes Jash I will."

"You can take your time to think about it. I can-wait, did you say yes?"

"No shit what did you think I said Jash?" I was really happy, I smiled at her.

"Tomorrow at 7?"

"Tomorrow at 7." Mary smiled back and gave me a hug. I was pretty shocked but hugged her back.

"Ahem." A voice cleared his throat. "I'm sorry sir, but the men have some things to say." I groaned.

"Is it urgent?"

"Yes. They say it is." I looked to Mary and raised an eyebrow.

"Go ahead." She said. "I can wait. I'll be up here." Mary smiled and I nodded.

"Have Rob stay in front of my door."

"Sure Jash." With that me and Lars headed out the door.

We walked to the meeting room where half my men were in. Connor, Travis, Mark, Monroe, and Nate were there.

"Hey what's this all about?" I asked. All the men looked at eachother then towards me again.

"It's about Mary." Connor said seriously, he never sounds serious.

"What about her?"

"We don't think it's safe to be getting her in this between us and Ryan." Travis continued. "Mary has been through some serious shit in her life, she was just getting better Jash, and now we're ruining it."

"So you're saying to let her go?"

"No, we're not saying that." Another one of my men Harvey started. "If we let her go then Ryan might get her and it'll be our fault. What we're saying is that we don't think it's safe having her around."

"You mean move her to another destination?"

"Yeah." Mark said. "If she is somewhere else then that means Ryan won't be able to get her."

"No." I snapped. "She is not leaving our sides. Mary stays with us."

"Then let her help us Jash!" Travis yelled. "She can do whatever she wants. I learned it the hard way. But Mary should be able to help us! We won't be seeing her for a week and we need her help!"

"Mary. Is. Not. Leaving!" I stood up and placed my palms on the table. They all backed up, execpt Travis.

"You know nothing about Mary. She knows nothing about you. What makes you think that Mary will decide to be just one of your toys?" Travis also stood up.

Is he serious? I have never gotten any of my girls into this situation. Never! I never wanted this to happen, I just wanted the same thing with the other girls, go on dates, have sex, and break her heart. I didn't think Ryan wanted Mary!?

Why does he want Mary? Out of all the other girls he could've chose, he picked Mary. The innocent one. The young one. The beautiful one...

Focus Jash.

I looked at Travis.

"She won't go to school during this month. We will find Ryan and kill him then. During that time Mary is to stay with one of us at all time, and we will also keep her friends close."

"You think he can't just hurt one of us and get Mary? We don't know what Ryan is planning on doing Jash. He could be up to anything." Monroe stated.

"Exactly, she is not leaving our sides."

I sighed, this is like, what, the third time I've said this today? And they still don't understand me? I swear, these men are hard-headed sometimes.

"Dismissed." I say to them all. As they leave I walk to the kitchen and pour myself some scotch. I heard light foot steps behind me and I turned around.

"You know you shouldn't be drinking, it can damage your nervous system." Mary told me.

I smirked, she is so smart but annoying at the same time. I poured some more and chugged it down. Turning towards Mary, she smiled.

"You're never going to listen to me, are you?"

"Nope, because I can do whatever the hell I want to do, and no one can stop me."

"I can though." Mary smirked. Oh really, she is challenging me?

"Oh really, how can you do that?"

"For instance, you said you can do whatever. So I can do whatever. You can talk to me and I don't need to talk to you. You can take me on that date, but, I don't need to go."

I widened my eyes.

"You wouldn't do that, I get whatever I want to get."

"But that doesn't mean I'll give it to you. I can also do whatever I want. And I will get whatever I want also. If...I'm you're...girl, then I should be treated the same as you do. Or else you'll get a grumpy, sad, drunk Mary." She smirked again.

Sheesh, this girl. I should have a talk with Travis about her.

I ran a hand through my hair. Mary really got me. But, it is fair in a way, if she is going to be staying here, she should get what she wants. Just not everything.

"Fine Mary. But no matter what, we're still going on that date."

"I'm fine with that, I was just making my point." Mary winked and walked back upstairs. I sighed, and smiled.

She is a tough one...and smarter than me.
