CHAPTER 31

JONS POV*

You wake up to you're phone ringing.
Its a private number.

"Hello"

"Jon?" Your heart stops

"Stacy?"

"I don't have much time, Jon don't leave kayden alone he's planning on getting him tomorrow he has it all worked out Jon protect him"

"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOURE DOING"you hear Jake yell

"Nothing Jake I...." The phone goes dead.

She was alive relief falls over you but what did she mean about kayden. You had planned on dropping him off to Monica's while you went to a meeting. Then you remembered what Stacy said about mike Monica's bf. And how he was good friends with Jake. You call the detective that's on you're case and tell him about the call he is at you're house in less than 10 minutes the both of you work out a plan for the next day.

You get kayden ready and put everything in his diaper bag including the phone which is on silent. You kiss him and put him in his car seat. You make you're way to Monica's and dro him off. Mike is there. You drive around the block and park you're car and get into the detectives car that's parked on the corner.

You see mike leave with kayden about 20 minutes later. You and the detective follow him. Someone else heads in to check on Monica.

"Hello" the detective says "damn okay thanks for the update"

"What happened?" You ask

"Apparently he beat Monica up and tied her to the bed."

"So she had nothing to do with this"

"Nope not at all"

That's good, would have felt bad if you would have had to tell Stacy that her friend had betrayed her. You keep on following mike he drives for a about 2 hours.

STACYS POV-

"Hes almost here"

"Who is?" You ask

"Our son"

"Oh" why hadn't Jon protected him did mike do something bad to Jon. The suspence was killing you.

"What you don't want our son here" he ask grabbing you're arm you wince from the bruises he had left on you after he found you on the phone. In fact you're whole body was bruised. He had pulled you're hair and thrown you on the bed and raped you. More than once.

"I do"

"Good" you keep on eating for another 5 minutes. "He's here" he says as you see headlights pulling in. He opens the garage and goes to help him out. You run to him when you see him bringing in kayden "here take him upstairs I gotta talk to mike for a bit" you quickly grab him and he hands you the diaper bag. You rush up the stairs yo the room you can't seem to stop kissing kayden.

"Oh my sweet baby boy I'm sorry I let him get his hands on you. Oh I love you" you hug him close and he starts fussing you feel his diaper and lay him on the bed you dig through the diaper bag. You take out diapers and wipes. You change him but notice he wet his onesie. You grab and outfit and out rolls out a phone, with a note saying call me if its safe too. Oh Jon. You listen and they're talking on the kitchen. You quickly dial the number.

"Hello" you start crying "Stacy?"

"Yes"

"Oh thank god" you hear the relief in his voice

"Jon why did you let him get our son"

"Its okay baby we have a plan"

"We?"

"Yes me and the cops we followed him to you baby"

"Jon he has a gun" you say as fear floods all over you he could kill him.

"They do too baby"

"Ask her where he's at and where's she's at" you hear someone say

"He's downstairs in the kitchen and I'm upstairs in the room."

"Okay were just waiting on back up, can you lock yourself in a room with the baby"

"Yes"

"Oh baby I can't wait to have you in my arms"

"I know Jon me either I love you baby"

"Theyre here tell her to hide now"

"Okay" you take kayden and walk into the closet you take the key and lock it from the inside.

"Wait there baby I'll see you soon" he hangs the phone up. Everything's silent
