Chapter 49:
I heard running from outside of my room. Aubrey and I were sitting in the small sitting area in one of the corners, playing would you rather. At first we thought that it was simply a doctor or a nurse who had to get somewhere to a patient quickly, but then he stormed into my room.
Johnson.
Tears formed in my eyes as I jumped up from my chair. We just stared at each other for a few seconds, before we ran to each other. I jumped into his arms, and flung my arms around his neck. He spun me around in circles, and wrapped my legs around his torso.
"I've missed you so much, baby girl. Don't ever scare me like that ever again, okay?" He mumbled, and I nodded. We looked at each other. "Don't cry, baby girl." He whispered, and kissed me on the lips softly, making me sigh. I had missed his touch so much, even though it hadn't even been 3 days since we last kissed.
That just proved how much I needed him in my life. We would define our relationship later, but for now he was here, and his touch and presence comforted me.
He set me back down onto my feet, and he joined us in the corner as we continued playing would you rather. We got bored of that quickly, and decided to play never have I ever. But instead of drinking when you've done something, you had to put up on of your fingers. The first one who reached 10 had lost.
Aubrey started. "Never have I ever masturbated to a picture of my crush or partner." She snickered, and both of us didn't put up a finger, however Johnson did and got super red in the face. We both burst out laughing. "Oh my god, who?!" I asked through my fits of laughter. "You, baby girl." We kept laughing. Aubrey's plan. Before Johnson and I had become a couple.
I had totally forgotten about that. Next it was Johnson's turn. He was thinking about it for a while, before his eyes lit up. "Never have I ever had a period horror story." Aubrey and I raised a finger and groaned. "That's not fair!" Aubrey whined. "Yeah, you're not a girl so you don't get a period!" I objected as well, siding with my best friend. In the end we just let it slide, and it was my turn.
"Hmmm... Never have I ever physically fought someone." Johnson and Aubrey both raised a finger. "Thats not fair either! You're my best friend and his like...soulmate, you know this about us!" I giggled, and shrugged.
But I couldn't ignore the fact that the word 'soulmate' kept ringing in my head.
