Once I was home I greeted my mom and went up to my room. I logged into Facebook and I had a friend request. I clicked it. I was hoping it was Dani but it was some dude I didn't know. Nathan messaged me. I didn't realize he was on.
{hey <3}
{hey, can we go for a walk I wanna talk to you.}
{sure babe. You ok?}
{yeah I'm fine. Meet me at the bridge?}
{ok}
I logged off and grabbed my keys. "Mom, I'm going to see Nathan!"
"Ok Hun. Be home for dinner"
"Ok mom" and I left. I drove down to the bridge which was about a mile away from my house. Nathan. Was already there. Time to get this over with. I got out and walked up to him.
"Everything ok, babe? He sounded worried.
"No not really."
"Why not? Did I do something wrong?"
"You did nothing wrong...but I think we should break up. It's not really working for me I've been needing to do this for a while. I'm really sorry." He looked really hurt.
"It's fine I should have been a better boyfriend to you."
"It's not that, you were a great boyfriend."
"Then what's wrong?" I didn't know how to say it so I just said it.
"I don't really think of you as a boyfriend. More as a brother."
"I see. Well I guess I'll talk to you later. Bye." He got in his truck and left. I felt better but then I felt bad.
When I got home I could hear mom on the phone and I smelled bar-b-que chicken, my favorite. I ate dinner with mom and went up to my room and got on Facebook I changed my relationship status to single 30 minutes later I got messages asking what happened. I wasn't up for explaining so I went for a bath. After my bath I got into pjs and went to bed.
