chapter 9

--ok so I haven't updated for a while. I kinda got side tracked. I think you will like this chapter though ---

I felt the car come to a stop and switch off. my mind goes wild thinking of what awaits for me. I hear the click of the eat belt next to me and then another feeling mine slide off of me. I hear some moving around then I feel soft warm lips brush against my cheek. she kisses my lips gently at first and I pull her in closer to me. she pulls off the blind fold but I kept my eyes closed not wanting to break the kiss. she pulled away and told me to open them. When I did so, I saw the most beautiful sight.

We were set in front of a huge lake with the sun setting behind it. I looked to the sand and saw a cute little picnic. There was a black blanket with candles on either side and there was food in the middle. I could hear faint sounds of music playing. I couldn't hear well enough to know what it was.

"Do you like it?" she looked at me hopefully and smiles. "my family helped me put it together."

"I love it Dani. Its beautiful." I lean over and kiss her on the cheek. "What is this for anyways?"

"Its for us. And you not letting those assholes at school get to you." I smiled at her. She really was the best.

"Come on. Lets enjoy our dinner." we got out and went to sit on the blanket. the sun had set leaving a pink and orange haze over the sky.

Dani started pulling out the food. she opened a container with something that had sliced potatoes and cheese and some sort of milky, soupy, sauce. she called it scalloped potatoes and said it was a yankee dish. I did reconize the next thing she opened up. fried chicken. I hadn't had it in so long. my mom had forced me to become a vegetarian with her. I couldn't wait to taste the meat over my taste buds. she scooped a big spoonful of the potato stuff on my plate and reassured me that I would love it. I ate the chicken first being afraid of the potatoes. I took a small bite. I was shocked. they were amazing.

After we finishd eating we laid down and looked at the stars. it was a clear night and I think we could see every star in the galaxy. there were so many. We talked endlessly about anything we could think of. It was the perfect night. I let her drive back home because I still had no idea where we were. It was actually a short drive back to her house. When we got in the house we ran up to her room. she closed the door as I sat on the bed. She turned and faced me with an evil and very sexy grin.
