Jena's pov

My life is ruined. Everyone knows now. Everyone. God, what will tomorrow and everyday after be like? I wish I could die. In towns like mine its not easily excepted to be gay. It is highly looked down upon. How can I deal with them. I've never been picked on for anything. I see how they treat Mike and its horrible. I can only imagine how he must feel. Maybe a good night of sleep will calm my nerves.

-----the next morning-----

I woke up to my alarm blaring music. I didn't care to think of who or what the song was. I wanted nothing more than to go back to sleep. instead of carrying on with the day ahead of me which I dreaded. My phone lit up with a text message. I picked it up expecting it to be Dani. I was right. [ Hey babe. I'm really expecting you to be at school today but if you're not I understand. ] I thought about not going and staying here in my safe bed. Then I thought otherwise. I couldn't let those bullies win. I had to show them I was stronger than that.

[I'll be there in thirty minutes to pick you up.] I sent the message and put down the phone to go for a quick shower. I pulled a towel from the closet and made my way to the bathroom. The water felt so good against my tense muscles. I stood there for a minute enjoying the warm water. I washed over my body and scrubbed my hair and got out. I did my best to get my hair good and dry and left it down. I picked out blue and grey tie-dye skinnies and a band tee. I applied little makeup. I put on my converses and studied my reflection in the mirror. I didn't look too bad. I picked up my phone and ran down the stairs. My phone went off in my hand. 2 messages. They were both from Dani one were she said see you soon and the other said she had a surprise. I wonder what that could be. While staring at the messages I almost forgot my keys walking out the door. I walked back in and picked them up. I noticed a note from my mom.

[ I'm going to be gone for a couple days. I meant to tell you last night but you went to bed so early. I have a buisness trip and ill be back Friday. I love you.] well its Monday so almost a week. Buisness trip my ass shes probably found some guy to mess around with. I walked out the door and took the short drive to Dani's house.

Just as I pulled up she walked out. She looked beautiful as always. She wore a grey shirt with some blue-jeans and regular tennis-shoes. She didn't do anything with her hair either and she didn't have and makeup on that I could see.

She got in the car and kissed me softly. I looked around nervously.

"Jena, you don't have to worry about anything. No one cares who we make out with or hold hands with or who we choose to have sex with. They're just trying to find something to poke their nose in."

"Do you know what they do to the gay kids at school? Have you seen them push Mike into the walls or slap his books out of his hands? Oh here's a good one. Have you watched as they beat him bloody?" She looked a little scared. She had probably lived in an open and welcoming enviornment all her life. Maybe she never had this problem before.

She was quiet for a while and I could tell she was thinking hard so I decided to change the subject. "So what's this surprise you've got for me?" she smiled again.

"If I told you it wouldn't be a surprise now would it?" I laughed as I polled into the school parking lot. I could feel the many eyes staring us down as we got out of the car. Dani's hand slid into mine and we locked our fingers in eachothers. I heard someone scream out lezbos and others laughed. It was going to be a long day.

The bell signaling to go home rang out and I had never been so relieved in my life. All day I had guys coming up to me saying they could straighten me out and telling me they'd show me what I was missing. I wasn't missing anything. They were so disgusting. It was obvious they were desperate. I couldn't wait to go home and cuddle up to Dani. She had not budged with the surprise but she did tell me she wanted me to stay with her after school which I agreed to.

We had gotten to her house and we were now in her room laying on her bed. We teased eachother with small kisses. The kisses got longer and sweeter. I pulled her closer so that our bodies were pressed together. She ran her fingers through my hair and pulled my face closer making the kisses more intense. I kissed her neck and listened to her moaning and went back to kissing her soft sweet lips. She bit my lower lip gaining access to the inside and took advantage. Our tongues moved ant different paces making it more desirable. She climbed on top of me not breaking the kiss. Her hair fell over our faces and I pushed it back and pulled her closer. She moved her hand up my shirt and under my bra. she squeezed my boob and moved her hand back down my torso. She stood up making me follow her up a little bit. I wanted more.

"Where are you going?"

"To go get your surprise." I tried to follow her when she walked out of the room but she made me stay. She came back a few minutes later empty handed. I was confused.

"Do you mind I drive your car?" I guess it wouldn't hurt.

"No go ahead. I don't mind." she grabbed my hand and pulled me downstairs and out of the house. We got in the car and she handed me a blindfold and told me to put it on. It made me more curious but I did as I was told. As soon as I put it on I knew she waved her hand in front of me but I couldn't see anything. I felt the car pull off and my mind wondered where she could be taking me.
