Chapter 11

-Dani's POV-

"What do you mean you don't believe in true love?"

"I just don't. It's stupid. I believe you can love someone but I don't like to think that my life is already planned out for me. As if I have no control over my own mind." I couldn't believe what my girlfriend was saying.

"So you think all the Disney princess movies are all just a bunch of bullshit?" She smirked.

"Yup!" I turned away from her.

"I don't know you anymore. How can you say that about all those movies? The perfect one. The one!" She laughed at my outburst. I crossed my arms over my chest and refused to look at her.

"Awe come on Dani. Don't be mad at me, baby." I looked at her to see her giving me sad puppy eyes. I gave in and pecked her on the lips. The twins cracked up at us.

"You guys are adorable." Jacob said while grinning. Jena's jaw dropped as if he had just insulted her.

"We are not adorable. We are hot!"

"You got that right." Jason said. We all started laughing as his face grew red. Apparently he didn't mean to say that.
"Why thank you Jason!" Dani ruffled his hair playfully and in turn he shrieked and fixed it back in place. We all laughed at him frantically smoothing and patting his hair.
All laughter stopped when someone's tray spilled over mine and Jena's heads. The cafeteria erupted into laughter while I sat there in shock and utter embarrassment. I on the other hand was furious. I stood up and faced whatever jerk did this to us.

~Jena's POV~

"What the hell?" She yelled out. hot tears stung my eyes and burned my cheeks as they fell.
"Maybe you should wash that off." I know that voice. I turned around to see Sierra and Bree standing there with smirks on their faces. They were supposed to be my friends.
"I thought we were friends." I whispered quietly. Bree laughed then scrunched her face.
"That was before you were a lesbian. Now you're just disgusting and you need help." they then left giggling. I felt something inside me sink. It was a cold and empty feeling. Dani wrapped her arms around me trying to comfort me.
"Some friends you have there. Are you ok?" I stayed silent. I didn't know what to say. I looked into her deep green eyes as hot tears continued to spill out. She grabbed my hand and led me out of the school.

We laid on Dani's bed my head rested on her chest as she brushed her fingers through my somewhat damp hair. We were showered and changed. I hadn't said a word since we left the school. There was a movie playing on the tv but I didn't really watch it. I stared out the window across the room, wondering how my best friends could turn on me so easily. Nothing had changed about me I just let a secret get out. And now the school hates me.
"Jena..." Dani tried me "sweetheart, look at me please." I raised my eyes to her's slowly. "Are you ok?" I looked away again. This caused her to sit up, me with her. she cupped my chin and turned my head to her. She planted a soft kiss on my lips. "Are you ok baby?" She asked again.
"No." I croaked out. My voice was weak from crying. I felt like dying. She reached her hand out tucked a few strands of hair behind my ear.
"It's going to be ok." she kissed my cheek lightly.
"They were supposed to be my friends. Why would they do this to me?" Dani wrapped her arms around me tightly.
"Jena, it's ok. You still have me. And I'm not going anywhere. Jacob and Jason are also gonna stay with us!" I dropped my head on her shoulder.
"I don't think I can handle this. I've never been bullied before." I felt her lips on my forehead then my cheek and my nose. I gave a small smile.
"They're just words. They won't hurt you. And if they do I'll hurt them to where they wish they were dead." I looked up and saw the cutest evil expression on her face. I laughed and pecked her lips.
"Thanks Dani." She smiled. "I don't know what I'd do without you."
"Well you'd still be with Nathan. You wouldn't have me as your awesome girlfriend."
"Yeah you're pretty cool. But I wouldn't go as far as to say awesome." her jaw dropped.
"What are you talking about. Im the most awesome person you'll ever meet."
"Besides myself." I challenged.
"Oh yeah?" Her eyebrows raised.
"Yes!" She suddenly jumped on me and started ticking me.
"Noo!! St--Stop it!" I screamed out between fits of laughter.
"Admit that I'm more awesome." she stopped and waited for my answer.
"Never!!" I yelled. she attacked me again. "Dani!!! I-I'm gonna pee!!" She moved up my sides and tickled the more sensitive spots causing me to yelp. "Fine!! Fine! You're more awesome!!" She stopped. I laid there panting trying to catch my breath. She grinned at me obviously amused. "You suck!"
"Yeah but you love me anyway." She had the softest eyes. They were most beautiful and caring. I didn't know how I was supposed to feel if I was in love but if I could imagine it would be how I felt at this very moment.
"Yeah I do."
