After our last period of the day, it was finally time to go home. I take the bus and so does Michael. I ride bus 14, and he rides bus 22. His bus leaves a little after mine, but after class got out, he was outside of my classroom waiting for me. He started talking, and I got really nervous.

¨Hey Emma, do you want to come home with me to hangout for a few hours? My parents aren't home, and won't be for awhile.¨

¨I can't today. I'm sorry. I've got exams and lots of homework to do tonight. Maybe next week.¨

He said that was fine, and then we started walking to the buses. We talked for a few more minutes, and then my bus came. We told each other bye, and he hugged me! Oh, and that's not all either! He gave me a kiss! It wasn't as big of a deal as the first or second one, but he did it in front of everyone! It was amazing, and then I sadly had to break the kiss and leave.

I had finally gotten home from school, and when I walked into my room, my phone started ringing. I didn't have the number saved in my phone yet. Because I was hoping it was Michael, I answered anyways.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey Emma, it's Michael."

"Oh hey." I really tried to act cool on this, while screaming happily inside. We talked for a while, and we laughed so hard. It was the best talk I've ever had. Now, since I'm known as a geek, this was a huge step for me.

After I hung up , he texted me. He asked me if I wanted to go on an official date! So, I called him to accept and then we talked about what we wanted to do and where we wanted to go. We honestly spent forever talking about it.

He was super excited about the date, and it was just the best thing ever. We even said love you for the second time, and I think he actually meant it. He has been by far the best boyfriend I've ever had. He's loyal, kind, trustworthy, smart, funny, athletic, cute, and he's just pure amazing. We had finally decided to go to a fancy restaurant, and then to go see a romantic movie.

The restaurant we decided on was called 'American Brulé', and the movie we are going to see is called 'Love in the 90s'. Neither of us have seen that movie, but we're excited to see it together. His parents, along with mine, have met and are okay with us going out. We just can't do anything we'd regret (you know what I mean). He's picking me up at 7, we are going to eat, and then we're going to see the movie. There are so many questions going through my mind. I never thought I would go on a real date like this, especially with a guy that's super popular. Oh, and just incase you are wondering, I don't like him because he's popular. He has so many good qualities. I can't even think straight when I'm around him. If you've ever been in love, you know that it's the best feeling in the world.
